Western Australia is a vast wildnerness which very few travellers visit. Covering an area of 2.5million kilometres, the state is home so some of the greatest beaches in Australia, untouched marine life and some of the most geographically fascinating landscapes in the world.
In Western Australia, there are more than 70 national parks and marine parks, and countless State forest recreation sites, covering an area of more than 20 million hectares. The vast majority of parks and recreation sites have picnic areas, walk trails or other attractions, as well as basic facilities such as water and toilets.
Western Australia's history dates back more than 40,000 years with a rich Aboriginal history, making it one of the oldest lands on Earth. Australian Aboriginals lived a nomadic existence, moving within fairly well-defined geographic regions, as they followed the seasons and food sources.
It wasnt until the 1500's that WA saw European explorers and while it is widely believed that Portuguese sailors plied the waters during this time, the first recorded European visitors in Western Australia's history were the Dutch in the 1600s.

“A week to remember”
1st January 2024 - 6 Day Margaret River & Esperance Tour
The trip to Esperance was amazing and every day was a highlight. Sean was the best — guide, chef, driver and singer, with jokes and games that had the bus in stitches. Lovely group, wonderful beaches and hikes, and so much wildlife, from kangaroos to marine life. Definitely recommend.

5th January 2025 - 10 Day Adelaide to Perth Tour
My partner and I did the Adelaide to Perth adventure, starting on Christmas Day, and would highly recommend it. Huge thanks to Gary and Hannah — the best guide duo — with Gary taking on the long drives and Hannah producing great group meals despite plenty of dietary needs. They managed a large, diverse group brilliantly and kept things uplifting and accommodating, and even at capacity the bus never felt crowded. Highlights included a surfing lesson near Streaky Bay, an optional swim with sea lions and dolphins, and sleeping under the stars in swags each night, especially the two nights at Cape Le Grand (Lucky Bay), where the early-morning Frenchman's Peak and Hellfire Bay hikes are well worth it. A tip: pack a fly net and light sun-protective clothing for the long, bright days.

19th December 2024 - 10 Day Perth to Adelaide Tour
A group of strangers who met in Perth to travel with our guide Jackson to Adelaide — warm weather, plenty of driving, and so much fun and so much to see. We slept in swags at campsites of varying standards, Jackson shared his knowledge and lifted the group's spirits, and the food was great. I'd happily recommend it even for slightly older travellers like me (53) — all you need is sunscreen and a good mood.
