What meals are included on an Uluru tour?

On most trips every meal from day 1 lunch to the last day is included, cooked by your guide at camp. The short 2-day trips include less, and the Adelaide runs include fewer because of the coach legs. The table below is trip by trip.

Food is cooked at camp by your guide and eaten together — it is not a restaurant stop. People ask this because the gap between "some meals" and "all meals" is real money over three or four days in a place with almost nowhere to buy lunch.

What you still pay for

  • Drinks, other than the water, tea and coffee at camp. Most trips stop at a shop before heading out so you can pick up what you want.
  • Meals in town at either end of the trip, and any meal on a day the table above does not cover.
  • On the Adelaide runs, meals on the overnight coach legs — those are travel days, not touring days.

Vegetarian, vegan and allergies

Vegetarians are catered for on every trip here, and most operators handle vegan and common allergies as well — but the guide shops for the whole group before leaving, so it has to be known in advance. Tell us when you book rather than on the morning, and we will put it on the operator's manifest.
