What is included on a Cairns reef or rainforest trip?
Transfers, your guide, lunch and the gear. On a reef day that means snorkelling equipment, a guide in the water and lunch on board; on a rainforest day it means the vehicle, the guide and the national park fees. Diving, stinger suits in season and drinks are the usual extras.

Cairns day trips look similar in price and differ in what is in them, so it is worth knowing where the lines fall. Broadly, everything you need to do the thing is included and everything optional is not.
On a reef day
In the price

- A guide in the waternot just on the boat. Worth more than people expect if you are not a confident swimmer.
