An incredible tour through the Daintree Rainforest! Our guide Michael was fascinating, ranging across Australian history and the specifics of the forest's plants, and the day was really well paced. An absolute must-do.

The Cape Tribulation and rainforest tour was a really enjoyable day, and we were thoroughly looked after — plenty of snacks and a filling lunch with options to suit dietary needs, a comfortable bus with good tunes, and a crocodile cruise as a nice extra. Michael was a master at his craft — passionate and knowledgeable about the rainforest you tour through, and creating such a fun, laid-back atmosphere on the bus that it's easy to have a good time and learn at once. Beautiful scenery and a great way to make friends; if you're backpacking, there's no other tour bus to go on. Worth every penny.
Had a blast on the Cape Tribulation tour with Cousin Paul as our guide! So much fun with backpackers of a similar age, and a full day of viewpoints, boat trips, walks, beaches and swimming holes, all enjoyed safely.

Our guide Oscar was witty and hilarious, eloquent with anecdotes and fun facts throughout, and made the day very interesting. There was a cyclone warning and it poured with rain all day, yet it was still a beautiful day out at the Daintree and we enjoyed every bit of it.

So much fun! Our guide Raychel was amazing and so interesting to talk to, sharing stories and facts throughout. It's a long, full-on day, but the drives are stunning and Raychel's stories made them fly by. We had a lovely rainforest walk, a swim at Port Douglas and a Cape Tribulation creek, an ice cream stop, and a fun croc cruise where we saw four baby crocs, plus a good lunch (a croc burger!). A really interesting, fun trip we'd recommend to anyone in Cairns.

We did the Cape Tribulation day tour aboard the bus called 'Bin Chicken' with our guide Cousin Sam, and it was such a great day. The group were lovely and the food and snacks were fab, but Sam was the highlight — I've never met a guide so passionate about their job. Highly recommend, and hopefully you're lucky enough to get Sam.

An amazing day, full of facts and funny stories from our brilliant guide Oscar, with great tunes throughout. We started with tea, coffee and breakfast at Four Mile Beach, took in two stunning lookouts, then a river cruise where we saw quite a few crocs, an ice cream stop with loads of fruit flavours, an included burger lunch, and a private swimming hole with a rope swing everyone loved, plus a rainforest walk. Games and chocolate on the way back topped it off. 10/10.

A great day out on the Cape Tribulation tour. As an animal lover, my favourite parts were the unique insects and, of course, the crocodiles. Troy kept us entertained between stops and had great knowledge of the animals and plants we came across, and we were well fed and hydrated. A long day, but with less walking than I'd expected — which most will appreciate on a hot day.

Our day tour was brilliant, made even better by Oscar — friendly, funny, mindful of our safety and so informative that we learnt loads. We had just the right amount of time at each stop, visited some great spots, and even the bus journeys were entertaining, with pickup and drop-off at our accommodation a bonus.
An amazing tour with Mike — we did the Cape Tribulation trip and weren't disappointed. Stunning views, plenty of crocodiles, and cassowaries out on the road, and Mike even kept us entertained while a fallen tree was cleared so we could carry on. Lovely little treats at the end too.

A must-book tour, in my opinion — from the scenic driving and great viewpoints to seeing wild crocs and cassowaries and learning all about their importance to the stunning Daintree. But the glue was our guide Oscar; hard to believe he'd only been doing it three weeks, as he got a bus full of strangers of all nationalities feeling like family by the end, from questions about Australian and Aboriginal history to outrageous bus games and karaoke. Mike and Paul were fantastic — informative, friendly and funny. Truly the best day trip: we saw loads of crocs, plus cool spiders and colourful bugs on our walk, learnt heaps about the rainforest, and had a lovely dip in a creek and a beach visit. The coach drive was scenic with nice music and fun games, and as a vegetarian used to boring lunches on tours, I was delighted with an amazing jackfruit burger. Couldn't recommend it more!

The best way to see Cape Tribulation and the rainforest. It's a long drive from Cairns, but it didn't feel like it at all with our guide Tom, who was super informative — we had an incredible experience. You only need sandals or flip-flops, and the food was yummy (though you might bring a few extra snacks).

A fun trip full of humour and adventure. It's a long drive from Cairns to Cape Tribulation, but there's plenty to see from the bus, our guide Brian kept the entertainment going, and there were plenty of stops. The highlight was the crocodile tour and the walk through the rainforest. We were lucky to have prime seats right behind Brian — a professional joker, and we enjoyed every bit of it.

Our guide Brenden made for a great day with all of his knowledge and great sense of humour. The day flowed at a nice pace, letting us see so much, and the views were amazing. We had a full bus, but everyone was up for a good time and the group's energy made it fun. I was happy not to have to drive myself, and the price seemed reasonable for a full day with food included. Brenden was the best part by far — a pretty special day.

Went on the Cape Tribulation and Daintree forest tour with Sam, who was 10/10. We did and saw a lot, so the day felt a touch rushed at times — probably because we packed so much in! The Daintree boardwalk is small but beautiful, and do bring bug spray.

We were lucky to see crocs and a cassowary, and Ray, who ran our river cruise, was brilliant too. All the food and drink was great (recommend the fish burger). Will's passion for conservation is infectious and his knowledge of the rainforest deep. You can't come to Cairns and not do an Uncle Brian's tour — and you're lucky if you get Will!

The one-day Cape Tribulation tour was amazing, starting with a local pickup from our lovely guide Courtney. The bus drive itself is beautiful, with no time to get bored thanks to plenty of stops at gorgeous backdrops to stretch your legs and grab photos. The crocodile river cruise was exciting, seeing them up close from the safety of the boat, and the big lunch filled us up all day. To top it off, we bumped into a cassowary on the rainforest walk!

A very good tour! We had rain on the day, but even so, our guide Cousin Frankie was very knowledgeable, sharing many interesting facts about the region, the wildlife and his Aboriginal heritage, which is also from there. Friendly and organised, he got us to all the highlights and even to try a unique ice cream made only in the Daintree area. It was great!

“Cape Tribulation full day tour - great fun!”
Our Cape Tribulation tour was brilliant. It's a long day, but well worth it for the amazing stops — lots of scenic views on the drive and at the lookout points, and the beaches were nice and quiet. We were lucky to see eight crocodiles on the boat tour and two cassowaries walking through the rainforest, plus a fun freshwater swimming spot with a rope swing. Our guide Will was knowledgeable and clearly passionate, so we learned a lot, and he was great fun on the drives too. 100% recommend.

We did the one-day tour to the Daintree Rainforest and it was amazing! Our guide Will was really passionate, offering a perfect mix of interesting facts and a chilled, funny atmosphere. We saw lots of wildlife, went for a swim, did beach walks and had a delicious included lunch. Thanks for the amazing time, Will — 10/10, would recommend!
Uncle Brian's was fantastic! Our guide Will did an amazing job showing us Cape Tribulation and the Daintree Rainforest — a great way to see everything you'd want to. Ending at the Daintree Ice Cream Company was a lovely touch, supporting a local business, and Will did a great job fostering a fun, sociable community on the tour. I was even late to my pickup and they flexibly accommodated me!
“Fabulous day trip”
An amazing day on the Cape Tribulation tour. Our group ranged in age from 17 to 60 and, although most were in their 20s, we fitted in fine. Our guide Will was helpful, informative and fun, and it was a very full day: viewpoint stops, a river cruise (lots of crocs, including two huge ones), travel through the rainforest (we saw cassowaries), lunch and a swim in a creek. We loved Four Mile Beach and Cape Tribulation. Highly recommend.
An amazing day on the Daintree! A big shout-out to our guide Will — the croc cruise was incredible, with so many chunky crocs and some babies too, and the rainforest walk was really beautiful. Such a good trip to do as a solo backpacker. Highly recommend.

One of the best day trips I've been on — so well organised from pickup to drop-off, and we packed so much fun in. We saw some huge crocs, and all the guides were friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. A shout-out to our guide Will, who absolutely smashed it — he mentioned it was only his fourth or fifth tour, but you'd think it was his hundredth, making the long drives fun with games and music. 100% recommend for any age.

“Great tour and amazing tour guide!”
A great tour — picked up right in front of our hostel and straight to the first stop. The spots were great and gave an amazing overview of the area, and the food was lovely, from typical Aussie morning-tea snacks to a good lunch, and Daintree rainforest ice cream on the way back. Our guide William was amazing — super friendly, explaining everything and making sure we made the most of the day; when I wasn't sure about the swimming hole, he just got in with me. A great experience I really enjoyed.

A nearly perfect tour. I was hesitant when the bus pulled up looking super touristy with all the decals, but I couldn't have been more wrong. The whole day was full of exciting activities — croc watching, swimming in their private swimming hole — and our guide William was a highlight: knowledgeable and funny (he even lent me his jacket, which was super clutch).

The tour was absolutely amazing. I took my 11-year-old and she loved every minute, even on a long day — we fitted so much in but still had plenty of time at each stop. The bus was comfortable, and lunch was delicious (with gluten-free catered for). Our guide Will was friendly and knowledgeable and really made the day, and we saw wild crocodiles (bucket list!) and a cassowary. 100% recommend — well worth every cent.

A wonderful tour from Cairns to explore the Daintree Rainforest and Cape Tribulation. The itinerary is well paced, with a great mix of nature walks, a swimming spot, a yummy lunch and scenic stops, and you learn a lot about the area's history, wildlife and Indigenous culture. The views are stunning, especially where the rainforest meets the reef at Cape Tribulation. Our guide Courtney was awesome — fun, knowledgeable, and keeping the vibes up all day. Highly recommend!

A very well organised day tour, full of adventure and fun. Our host Beatriz was an amazing guide with a great sense of humour — no one could do the job better. The tour takes in the main parts of the Daintree Rainforest and Cape Tribulation, with a few pit stops to explore and some lovely landscape views. Highly recommended.
I did the Cape Tribulation tour with Raychel and was very impressed! It's a long day — 7am until almost 8pm — so be prepared. I really enjoyed the croc tour, the lunch stop and rope swing, and the ice cream stop, and although it was cold and wet the day we went, Raychel encouraged us all to embrace it. A really lovely day — thank you, Raychel!
We did the one-day tour to Cape Tribulation and had a great day exploring lots of different places with Raychel, a wonderful guide — friendly, fun and knowledgeable. Swimming in the water hole and spotting crocs were particular highlights, and the burger lunch was great too!
My mum and I did the one-day Cape Tribulation tour with Raychel, and she did not disappoint — absolutely amazing throughout. My mum loves trees, plants and flowers, and had a fantastic time chatting with Raychel about all of it. 10/10, would recommend having her as your guide!

I went on the Cape Tribulation day tour, and even though it rained all day, it was still an excellent tour — our guide Jake was so positive and entertaining that he made it very worthwhile. You do spend a lot of the day on the bus with lots of stops, but it's a great way to see all the sights, with plenty of food and drinks and a bonus ice cream stop. Would highly recommend.

A really good day! Conrad was a brilliant guide — very informative and fun — the lunch was delicious, and all the stops were excellent. It seemed like a lot of driving at first, but it was worth it, and we even saw a cassowary and a crocodile!

Our guide Conrad made sure we had a perfect day, entertaining the whole group even on the scenic drive with creative games, and sharing so many fascinating facts about the rainforest. The rainforest is beautiful, you get to swim in a lovely water hole, and Conrad made sure no one went hungry with fresh fruit, delicious pastries and a great lunch. We even saw a little crocodile in the Daintree river, and everyone was picked up and dropped off where they wanted. Thank you for a special experience!

Such a nice time, and we're so thankful for all the facts we learned about the rainforest. If you wanted to see something different, you could just ask our guide and she'd make it happen, and there was so much food for every dietary need. Would definitely recommend.
We did the Daintree Rainforest tour with our guide Conrad and it was an absolutely fantastic day. There's a fair bit of driving between activities, but Conrad kept us all entertained and engaged, the lunch was fantastic — a huge, flavourful burger and fries — and Conrad himself was awesome: incredibly knowledgeable and so friendly. Couldn't recommend highly enough.
My favourite tour — you must do an Uncle Brian's tour while in Cairns! I hadn't been the biggest fan of Cairns as a city, but this was one of my favourite things I did all month. I did Cape Tribulation with Conrad and, wow — great vibes, chilled, and just what I needed on my last day in Australia. Conrad is probably the best guide I've ever had, his commentary perfection. We had a great giggle in the creek, the lunch was chef's kiss, and I finally ticked the rainforest off my bucket list. A perfect day!

A highlight was the wildlife: we saw a crocodile, bats, a spider, a monitor, a sand crab and even a cassowary! We stopped at Daintree Ice Cream on the way home, and the bus games made the drive back much more enjoyable. Definitely recommend!

Our guide had a wonderfully wild sense of fun that kept the trip light-hearted. We didn't spot any crocodiles on the cruise this time (more the crocs' fault than anyone's!), and the forest walk is fairly short and gentle — great for a taste of the rainforest, though those after a deeper, more immersive hike might want a different tour. Either way, if you can, go with Uncle Brian's — he's amazing!

An amazing experience — we cannot thank our guide Trent enough; he made the trip for us. Smooth pickup near our accommodation, and straight away Trent made it fun with his facts, stories and enthusiasm, engaging with everyone all day while being a passionate, informative guide. We were lucky to see three cassowaries, three crocs (mum, dad and baby), bats, wallabies and rock-pool wildlife. Do note there's a lot of driving, and swimming can be limited when crocs are about, but Trent made every journey fun and even set up a shared QR code so we could all swap photos. Thank you, Trent!
