Lana had an amazing trip and made lasting friends within her tour group. Guides Ben (North Island) and Claudia (South Island) impressed with their deep local knowledge of the culture, plants, and wildlife, and were generous with advice on activities, food, and daily prep. She was glad she paid extra for a private room for some personal time, but notes that at most hostels a private room still means a shared bathroom.

The best seven days on the Southern Loop tour, which exceeded expectations exploring the Upper South Island. Highlights were swimming with dolphins at Kaikoura and visiting Abel Tasman National Park. The vehicle was comfortable with plenty of room and WiFi, and the pace allowed for lots of walks and activities at each stop. Wild Kiwi comes highly recommended.
