Things to do at the Pinnacles
Sunset, then the starsWith the Lancelin dunes on the way up.
Walk among the spires at sunset, stay for the stars, and sandboard the dunes on the way. The Pinnacles are thousands of limestone spires in yellow sand in Nambung National Park, about 200km north of Perth. The trips arrive for the late light, when the spires throw long shadows, then serve dinner in the desert with a glass of local wine and stay on for the stargazing. On the way up, Lancelin has the largest network of sand dunes in Western Australia, and you can sandboard down them, board hire included. From $169, from Perth, with dinner.
Checked on 28 October 2026.
The Pinnacles sit near Cervantes on the coast north of Perth, around two and a half hours each way on sealed road. Most of what there is to do happens in the afternoon and after dark, which is why the day trips leave Perth after midday.
