The Adelaide to Uluru camping tour was unforgettable — every stop was beautiful and the campgrounds well maintained and equipped. Our guide Robert was the best: he made an effort to get to know everyone, was incredibly knowledgeable about everywhere we went, and created a fun, relaxed space. You could tell he truly loves what he does, which made for really authentic experiences. A well-planned tour I'd recommend to anyone easy-going who's happy to camp in a swag, get up early and hike some amazing spots.

Absolutely incredible trip from Adelaide to Uluru, lead by Elliot! I chose the trip because of the stunning scenery and wildlife but I also really enjoyed learning about the aboriginal history and culture. All of this was lead fantastically by Elliot who made this trip very special. The knowledge and stories he has are fascinating and he worked tirelessly to ensure every one had the best experience.
I did this as a solo traveller and it was perfect for meeting people, with a wide range of ages in the group. Highly recommend this tour!

We did the 8-day Adelaide to Uluru tour and it was an adventure! 5 out of 5 stars for the tour and 6 out of 5 stars for the guides!
If you seek a proper tour through the outback, this is the one! The tour brought us along the Flinders ranges, Oodnadatta track, Coober Pedy, King’s canyon, Kata Tjuṯa and of course Uluru. During the nights we slept in swags under the stars and during the day we did hikes, activities and traveled by minibus through the outback. As the outback is a big place, the bus drove us quite some kilometers, but none of that is an issue with a guide like Brendan who will keep you easily amused for hours with his colorful stories and endless knowledge of the outback, the universe, rocks, and many other things. He’s better than a cinema!
The tour activities included beautiful (but obviously early) sunrise hikes, visits to landmarks and viewpoints, scenic drives and much more. Altogether it gave a great impression of the outback as we got to see so many different parts of it and by camping get to experience it by night as well as during the day (rather than staying in a boring hotel with a soft bed and aircon - is that a good story to tell your family back home?).
All in all we had a great outback adventure with a great group of people! Will cherish the memory for a long time. Big thanks!

Every day brought new, breathtaking scenery and the experience was made so much more interesting by the very informative stories that Elliott had researched and shared on a range of subjects from Aboriginal culture, to colonial history, wildlife, geology and plants.

Excellent way to see Australia in an authentic way and meet new people. Our guide Tom W was very knowledgeable, friendly, considerate and helpful throughout the 8 days we spent on the road together. As a small group we were well catered for and if we had any questions Tom was right there to help night and day. There was a good mix of driving, hiking and exploring local sights on our way north. The sights and experiences on this trip were exceptional and I feel grateful I got to enjoy them at such a reasonable price. I would definitely recommend this to anyone keen to discover the South Australian outback and the Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park.

Just did the 7-day Adelaide to Uluru trip and it was definitely an unforgettable trip! Our guides Alex, Lauren and Brendan went above and beyond for everyone’s needs. Learnt so much about the aboriginal cultures and the land (lovely bit of geology included). The food was amazing too, which I don’t think any of us were expecting but it was so so good! From the beauty of the national parks we visited to the moments in between like campfire stories and pub quizzes, everything was spot on.

Our tour guide Hannah was incredible. She was extremely knowledgeable, worked so hard the entire trip, and shared so much interesting information along the way. Even as an Australian, I learned a huge amount about the landscapes, culture, and history, which made the journey even more special. Zoe also deserves a huge shout-out. She was an exceptionally hard worker and helped everything run smoothly behind the scenes. You could really tell how much effort and care went into making sure everyone had a great experience.
My favourite part of the trip was bonding with everyone on the tour, we had such an amazing group of people, and of course seeing Uluru at sunset, which was absolutely unforgettable. The itinerary, scenery, and overall vibe of the tour were amazing. I’d highly recommend this tour to anyone wanting a fun, well-organised, and genuinely memorable outback adventure.

Learned a whole lot about rocks, vegetation, history and Aboriginal culture by our super enthusiastic tour guide Brendan and later Emily.
They made sure we had very tasty meals also for the veggo’s!
It’s a great combination of hikes and an epic roadtrip trough the outback by bus with your new family from all over the world! The one thing that makes it even more special is sleeping under the stars in a Swag! So, if you like camping… highly recommend!

The 7 day tour from Adelaide to Uluru was great! Our tour guide Steve was amazing and very friendly and informative, we had a lovely group and everyone got along and had a lot of fun together. There was a lot of driving but the bus was comfortable and we saw new incredible things every day, and it was an unforgettable experience to camp out under the stars. Would definitely recommend this tour!

My friend and I just completed the 8 day Adelaide to Uluru tour and had the absolute time of our lives. Our guide Scruffy was amazing – he was so funny and filled with so much knowledge - I learnt so much on this trip. We all learnt about wildlife, flora and fauna, Australian history and so much more. The trip was filled with so many fun activities. We did the best hikes I’ve ever done, I saw the most beautiful sunrises and sunsets and we visited some of the most unique places – destinations I’ll never forget. The guides were so attentive and kind, the food was phenomenal and all dietaries were well catered for. I felt well cared for throughout the entire trip and any nerves I had at the start disappeared by the end of day one with just how much comfort the guides provided us with. Couldn’t recommend this trip more ! I will thoroughly miss falling asleep each night under a sky full of stars.

My trip from Adelaide to Uluru was amazing and we had a great time with everyone. The guides, Hanna and Ian, were wonderful and knew so much about the culture and the surrounding area, and our host Zoe was lovely too.
For anyone after a top-shelf, authentic experience across this part of Australia, don't hesitate — I highly recommend the seven-day Adelaide to Uluru adventure. The route and itinerary were well thought out, the camping and bus comfortable and clean, and the food excellent. The hikes were proper and challenging in the intense summer heat but very well managed, and our fellow travellers were wonderful, everyone pulling their weight with the responsibilities of outback camping. Above all, our guide Chris Branson did an outstanding job — his wisdom and easy-going manner were appreciated by all, getting ten strangers up at 3:45am to beat the heat, cook, pack up and travel safely across a scorching landscape while keeping everyone together and smiling. As a teacher I know how hard that is; it takes patience, clarity and respect, and Chris delivered all three. I walked away with a far deeper appreciation of this land and of those who have lived here for 60,000 years. 10/10.

We had an absolute blast on the „Adelaide to Uluru“-tour!!! We had a fun group from all over and with mixed ages. Our tourguide Dan made sure everyone had a good time (and was safe), he‘s fun to be around and VERY knowledgable about wildlife, aboriginals and aussie-culture. When things didn’t went according to plan Dan stayed calm and fixed the situation.
We saw heaps of wildlife and got great informations about flora and fauna along the way. The hikes were rather easy if you‘re medium fit, but be prepared for the heat - we were lucky with very moderate temps in December.

Sleeping under the twinkling stars of the outback, rolling swags in the morning and being excited to get up early for great sunrise hikes through rocks and forest areas, having great talks along the way and enjoying so much good food (even selfmade pasta!), made this tour unforgettable, as well as relaxing hours of driving in the bus with so many interesting and fun talks from our tourguide about nature, solar-system, more nature, aboriginal culture, trees, rocks, australian history, discoverers, and much, much more - always underlined with great music or illustrations!

While the journey was unforgettable, there are several factors to consider. Our guides, Dan and assistant Marianne, were exceptional—knowledgeable, friendly, and dedicated to ensuring our safety and enjoyment. The activities, including visits to national parks and wildlife encounters, were extraordinary and stand out as highlights of my Australian experience. However, February’s temperatures were extreme, with daytime highs reaching up to 43°C (109.4°F) , making nights uncomfortable for sleeping. The necessity of rising at 5:30 or 6:00 AM to avoid the midday heat added to the trip’s demands. Additionally, the camping arrangements involved sleeping in swags under the open sky, which, while immersive, may not suit those seeking comfort. Hygiene facilities were basic; washing dishes in shared water was less than ideal. This trip is physically demanding and requires mental preparation for the heat and rustic conditions. Despite these challenges, the experiences were an unforgettable adventure.

Excellent tour, I would well recommend it. The tour group were a great bunch, very friendly and friendly and everyone helped out with preparing meals and packing away the camp sites. A ten out of ten to Gary our tour leader and bus driver. He went above and beyond in making sure we were all looked after and made us all feel welcome and ease with one another. He has great knowledge of each destination that we visited and was always friendly and cheerful. A great way to experience the outback and visit some amazing places.

The group was small, only 12 participants, and the tour guide Dan was excellent. It never scared us away, we discovered many wild animals along the way, and always given enough time for photos. Very cool guy! Only the office still has deficits in handling complaints. Because of incorrect information, I had to book an additional flight and wasted €200 on the original flight. Unfortunately no feedback on this. The tour itself is awesome!

The eight-day Adelaide to Uluru tour was the best I've ever done. The guides Michael and Brendan were amazing — I couldn't have asked for better. The camping was wonderful (bar the odd dingo and ant), and the group made it, the food was great and the included activities fantastic. An amazing experience I'd absolutely do again.
Our ten-day Adelaide to Alice Springs adventure was run by Untamed Escapes and how lucky we were. Matt, our mini-bus driver and guide, was fantastic — a real legend. We felt very safe with his driving, and he went above and beyond to make the road trip memorable: friendly, professional and knowledgeable, with a cheeky Aussie sense of humour.
