Tours from/to Darwin
Darwin is the capital city of the Northern Territory, Australia. Consisting of 124, 800 Territorians, Darwin is by far the largest and most populated city in the sparsely populated Northern Territory, but the least populous of all Australia's capital cities.
Originally a small port town, Darwin has grown exponentially into one of Australia's most unique and multicultural cities. Its close proximity to Asia gives it a very oriental feel as well as endowing it as an important Australia gateway to South East Asia.
Darwins only connection to the rest of the country is via the famous stuart highway which ends in Port Augusta in South Australia.
Like the rest of the surrounding regions, Darwin enjoys a tropical climate comprising of two different seasons; the Wet and Dry. It is also well know for its incredible amount of lightning strikes every years during heavy hurricanes and storms.

1st August 2026 - 3 Day Alice Springs to Darwin Tour
Olivia drove us from Alice Springs to Darwin on a 3-day tour through the Top End, stopping at many special sights, our favourite being Bitter Springs at Mataranka, closely followed by the waterfalls in Litchfield National Park. Thank you Olivia for being such an entertaining guide.

6th July 2026 - 7 Day Darwin to Alice Springs Adventure
Late writing this, but I did the 3-day Darwin to Alice Springs tour last August and my only regret was not booking the full 7-day package to Uluru too. Our guide Liv was phenomenal, more like a friend while teaching us the history and culture. As a solo traveller it was amazing to reach and swim at iconic Northern Territory spots I couldn't easily get to, and great value on a backpacker budget without missing out. The Top End is now one of my favourite places on earth. Thank you Mulgas.

“Great Experience”
1st August 2026 - 3 Day Darwin to Alice Springs Tour
We began with the 2-day express from Darwin to Alice Springs - only one pub meal included and otherwise self-catered, with two hostel nights and a lot of driving, though Ryan kept it fun with stops at a hot spring, swimming holes and the Devil's Marbles. Then Jake took over for the 3-day camping section, my favourite part: all meals provided, including camel and kangaroo to try, and he was knowledgeable and energetic. A great tour overall; I'd only include every meal and lift the food quality a touch. Expect plenty of driving and cold desert nights in winter.
