Darwin is the capital city of the Northern Territory, Australia. Consisting of 124, 800 Territorians, Darwin is by far the largest and most populated city in the sparsely populated Northern Territory, but the least populous of all Australia's capital cities.
Originally a small port town, Darwin has grown exponentially into one of Australia's most unique and multicultural cities. Its close proximity to Asia gives it a very oriental feel as well as endowing it as an important Australia gateway to South East Asia.
Darwins only connection to the rest of the country is via the famous stuart highway which ends in Port Augusta in South Australia.
Like the rest of the surrounding regions, Darwin enjoys a tropical climate comprising of two different seasons; the Wet and Dry. It is also well know for its incredible amount of lightning strikes every years during heavy hurricanes and storms.

1st May 2024 - 3 Day Alice Springs to Darwin Tour
I did the 4-day tour of Uluru, Kata Tjuta and Kings Canyon with Laura, then the 3-day trip up to Darwin through the NT's springs, watering holes and pubs with Jason. These were some of the best experiences of my life, and our fearless bush guides made them what they were, making it easy to just lean in and enjoy the ride. Thank you both for showing me a world wilder than I imagined and taking such great care of the group. I'll recommend both legs to anyone who'll listen for the rest of my life.

20th July 2024 - 7 Day Alice Springs to Darwin Adventure
Loved my Uluru and Alice-to-Darwin tours! Both Meg and Rachel were excellent guides. The food was good and they were very accommodating of my dietary needs. We saw incredible sunsets and got a genuine outback experience, especially at the random stops along the Stuart Highway up to Darwin. Highly recommend.

1st December 2025 - 7 Day Darwin to Alice Springs Adventure
Choosing Mulgas gave me the best tour of my life. I did the 4-day Rock to Rock and it was fascinating: the scenery, our guide Sophie, the group and the gorgeous weather. Sleeping in the open air under the stars, full moon and Milky Way was magical, and the sunrises and sunsets were something else. Sophie was wonderful and made it so much fun. Kings Canyon and the hikes were impressive too. I'd have liked a little more time at the Culture Centre and to walk fully around Uluru, but it was just great. I've already planned the Uluru to Darwin tour; an absolute recommendation.
