This is one of our most intense tours and is for people who are after a serious adventure travelling up the West Coast, through the remote Kimberley and into the Top End.
We'll camp under the stars as well as stay in dorm share accommodation. We'll visit Coral Bay, Carnavon, Exmouth, Monkey Mia, Karijini, Broome, the Kimberleys, Kununurra, Bungle Bungles and more!.

“EPIC Perth to Darwin trip!!”
I've been on a few tours before but this one takes the cake. Our guide was not only a great leader but also a great chef. He came up with unique and delicious meals throughout our ten-day tour. The campfire cooked lamb, sweet potato salad, and bush donuts were my favorites. The places we went were so much fun and so beautiful. Our guide always had interesting facts and information about where we were and what we were doing. He really went above and beyond. Cable beach, snorkeling, gorges and everything was my favorite. This tour is perfect for the slightly adventurous and those in good physical shape, and I highly recommend it! :)
“Amazing tour, brilliant tour guides”
I booked the 20 day Perth to Darwin tour not knowing what I was getting myself into and had the best time ever!
Early in the morning I got picked up by 2 tour guides Cabsy and Zee. We were a small group of 5 people and 2 tour guides so we bonded quite quickly. The tour guides were very knowledgable and answered all of our questions the best they could. Every day was an adventure, whether it was exploring beautiful gorges, sitting in the bus playing games, collecting firewood or getting the dinner ready. I have to say Cabsy’s dinners were delicious and she has some master skills to be able to cook on fire like that. Cabsy and Zee went out of their way the whole time for us and they truly made the trip unforgettable. Thank you!
The second part of the trip started in Broome with our new tour guide Duffman. I heard a lot of good things about him and I definitely wasn’t dissapointed. He was so knowledgable about all the places we visited. He took an amazing care of us through the whole trip, and his dinners were out of this world, he has some pro skills with cooking on fire. We also had a little accident with our trailer on the way and he handled it so well with such a positive attitude. Every single day was just amazing, full of adventure and beautiful nature and swimming spots. I wish I could still be on the tour with all the amazing people I met.
This was definitely an experience of a lifetime and I thank you guys so much for providing such an amazing tour.

There's no better way to explore Western Australia and the Kimberly then this 20 day Perth to Darwin tour. Our tourguide Zane showed us the most stunning places and really took the effort to teach us things about Outback Australia, it's culture, history & nature. Couldn't wish for a better group, tour or guide! Highly recommend this trip!

I took the Perth to Darwin overland tour in July and it was a blast! Our guide, driver and chef made the whole experience one to remember. He was tireless and took us on some amazing walks. We stayed in a mix of hostels and tents for the Perth to Broome portion and slept in swags under the stars for the Broome to Darwin portion, which pushed me out of my comfort zone but it was worth it for the experience. The food was delicious and we even got to help prepare some of it. I highly recommend this tour and the optional tours on offer, especially swimming with whale sharks at Ningaloo reef. It was a trip of a lifetime and I can't thank our guide enough for making it so memorable.

Once in a lifetime experience...you get to experience the nature in its originally beauty. You sleep in your swags under the stars. The food, which was cooked in the camp fire, was plenty and delicious, thanks to our guide and cook Trent, who knows all the historic and nature facts and helped me to find my favourite private sleeping spots in the bush:)
“Adventure before Dementia”
As a couple, 65+ but fit, it was with a bit of trepidation we booked onto this tour. We were not bothered about the arduous nature of it, more concerned about being the oldest by about 35 years.
As they say down here - no worries! There was a very mixed group aged from early 30's to mid 50's. We quickly gelled into a team.
The tour exceeded our expectations time and time again. Yes, it is hard work and a bit uncomfortable and the days are long. But the experience of seeing remote places, millions of stars, fabulous sunrise and sunsets more than compensated.
Every day brought new experiences and it is difficult to pick out highlights. Probably sunrise over the Bungle Bungles followed by a walk to Cathedral Gorge, then a heli ride, would be one. However, camping on Lake Argyle or swimming and hiking through Manning Gorge were close.
The one disappointment was that we couldn't get to Tunnel Creek because of a bushfire, but this was compensated for by a detour up the Dampier Peninsular to see the ocean and gleaming sand.
But the real star of the show was the guide Shane. Long hair, big hat, man bun and a presence that belied his age. As driver, cook, story teller, astronomer, naturalist and musician he made the trip so memorable. His choice of music - from the sublime Spirit Bird in the morning to the ridiculous Wonkey Donkey set the tone for the trip. What he didn't know he found out. His empathy with indigenous culture gave real meaning to the exquisite Kimberley landscape. A real asset to the company!
So, if you want to see nature in the raw get on the big yellow bus. You won't regret it.
“Sensational!”
If you're thinking of hitting up the West Coast, I highly recommend this tour - especially if you're traveling solo. Not only will you get to see some absolutely stunning nature, but you'll also get to meet some pretty cool people on this well-organized, adventurous, and fun tour. We were also lucky enough to have a guide who was a wealth of knowledge about the local culture and the nature - from wildlife to geology. I had an amazing time and learned so much about Western Australia and this country in general.
“Amazing Kimberley Experience”
Seeing this iconic view of Australia is like nothing else I've ever experienced. Sleeping in beautiful Bush camps, surrounded by bilboa trees, waking up with sunrise and seeing all the stars and milky way every night transports you away from your everyday life and leaves you transfixed by the beauty of this land. Miles of red earth, swimming in gorges, the moonscape of lake Argyle, helicoptoring over the bungle bungles. All of it was the highlight! Our host Trent added a whole other layer to this trip, his years of experience and knowledge and passion for the region really shone through. He took every opportunity to maximise this experience for us, from the places we stopped to camp or have lunch, the great food we ate everyday and keeping things on track and in hand no matter what the Kimberley threw at us- always calm and in good humour. This trip is participation based and theres always a task to do (it's part of the fun!), you sleep rough and dont shower much, it's not luxury in the traditional sense but it's part of the adventure and to experience nature like this will leave you will a real sense of gratitude. “Epic adventure across the red earth of the Kimberley”
This tour was the highlight of my trip to Australia and I would do it all again tomorrow. It was everything I was looking for and more...action packed adventure, sleeping under the stars, delicious camp fire food, wild swimming, rock jumping, hiking, bouldering, meeting great people....
Shane was our highly experienced and skilled tour guide. He is very knowledgable about the area and brought the magic of the Kimberley to life with stories and music. Shane quickly had us all trained up to help out with the jobs and by day 2 we were an efficient (extremely fun) team, which meant we could pack up camp super quick and head out for more adventure... He always made sure we were the first to experience and swim in some of the more popular sites (completely worth getting up early). He is a very calm problem solver and whenever there was a mechanical blip we were on the road in no time.
Highlights-
-Singing around the fire at night, after eating a delicious camp fire dinner) with the stars shooting above.
-Watching a bird swoop down into Cathedral Gorge in the early light.
-Seeing the sunset in lake Argyll and having a sundowner in the lake with the whole group.
-Hikes to the waterfall and rock jumping into the pools.

“Perth to Darwin”
It was an amazing adventure , a taste of beautiful wilderness . A lot more rock climbing/ scrambling and swimming than I expected. The guides were excellent and knowledgeable, great drivers. The campsites after Broome were better because they were in amazing spots away from the tourists! Sleeping in a swag was great once it got warmer, getting used being waking at dawn and being covered in orange dust was part of it .Thankyou for so many wonderful moments
“dventure Tour 22 day Darwin to Perth 4WD Camping Tour”
I finished my 22 day tour from Darwin to Perth on the 1st September and I am still re-living every element of this extraordinary experience each day. I want to do it all over again straight away. Dan, our driver, guide and chef was an absolute gem. His energy and enthusiasm was infectious and he gave everyone the confidence to take on the challenging hikes we did throughout the breathtaking gorges and canyons of the Kimberley and Karijini. His support on these hikes was heart warming as it made it possible to do everything on offer. Swimming in the waterholes and showering in waterfalls was an absolute highlight. Dan ensured we made the most of every day doing more than was on the itinerary. Our meals were terrific - healthy, tasty and enjoyed by everyone in our group. I was amazed at the effort Dan made to provide for all of the special dietary needs of passengers. He treated everyone with kindness and patience at all times.
I would highly recommend this tour as it is so much easier to sit back and enjoy the journey as well as the spectacular destinations. Not driving, meant I went to places I wouldn't have gone if I was in my own vehicle. The wonderful commentary and story telling adds to the experience. As an older passenger (56) I wasn't interested in being on a tour with only retirees and older people. The mixed age group was an important element of its great success for me. We forged friendships through the active participation in assisting in cooking and washing up, collecting firewood and by fun times in Blu bum (our van).
I noticed other tours, that are much more expensive, went to the same car parks and camping grounds but the passengers were not going as far into the gorges as we did. Often they were just going to lookouts and viewing from above. They may not have slept in swag's some nights but that was their loss too. Nothing like staring into the brilliant night sky. The Broome and West coast accommodation was hostels and fixed tents which were all terrific too. The pre booking for swimming with humpbacks, whale sharks and manta rays was very simple and those who participated were blown away by the experience. I chose to snorkel the Ningaloo Reef and loved it. Every element of this trip was superb. I didn’t want it to end. It was great value for money. If you're thinking about it just do it - you won’t regret it. Pack light, with layers and a beanie for the cold nights, plus a head torch for night use and the cave walk at Tunnel Creek.
“22 day Perth to Darwin”
Great tour, highly recommend. Brad was our awesome tour guide, and his enthusiasm for this part of Australia was obvious. He was great fun and laid back, but he also put in a great deal of organisation to ensure everything ran smoothly. It takes a lot of work to look after that many people for that many hours over that many days.
The trip itself takes you to so many beautiful places. It definitely helps to be fit and active. I didn't find any of the walks very hard, but some people struggled.
The food was great, everyone took it in turns to help prepare and clean up lunch and dinner.
There are obviously some days with lots of sitting in the truck, but that is just the nature of the trip. Australia is a big country, and if you want to see these places, you just have to be prepared to do this. Highly recommend.

I spent three weeks at the westcoast and I totally fell in love with this part of Australia! It was an absolutely fantastic trip! This trip is the best way to explore the Outback and the wildlife!
The landscapes are breathtaking and the hikes and activities are fantastic!
The evenings at the campfire with a great group are just amazing! And the best of it, there is no phone reception, so you don't have to worry about anything!
Without doubt the highlight between Perth and Broome is the Karijini National Park! It's just stunning! The red sand and the green nature is just magical!! Make sure you watch the stars there. You can nearly touch the Milky Way! And don't miss any hike, they're all fabulous!
The snorkling day with the Whalesharks is a highlight as well!
Between Broome and Darwin my favourite place is El Questro. The hike through El Questro George is one of the best hikes I've ever made! It's not a very easy
hike but climbing up waterfalls and climbing around rocks is just sooo much fun!
Of course, all the other places on this trip are amazing as well!
Another thing you shouldn't miss is to sleep in your swag completely outside. Watching the stars before you fall asleep is just a magical thing!
Our tourguide Toby was awesome. He knows exactly what to do and he knows how to entertain us! He also makes sure that everybody is safe all the time and that everybody can make the best out of their holiday and that you'll never ever forget the time you spent there!
His secret talent is to cook! His meals are just delicious. Make sure you never miss his deserts! ;)
So if you decide to make this trip definitely ask for Toby!!
Make sure you're fit enough to participate in every hike, otherwise you will miss breathtaking views and places.
You can't be to complicated about the facilities. They are rather simple but still very good.
And isn't it exactly what you expect from the Outback?!
For me it was absolutely a magical time I spent there! Those three weeks are why I wanted to go to Australia!
