- 6 nights — swag camping at the Ayers Rock Resort campground for two nights, then Kings Creek Station, Warren Gorge and Wilpena Pound, plus one night in an underground bunkhouse at an opal mine in Coober Pedy. All camping equipment is provided.

- An air-conditioned 4WD mini bus with a storyteller guide, meeting at 2pm outside the Desert Gardens Hotel at Yulara. Park entry fees are included. There is real distance in this one — around 760km on day 4 alone.

Highly recommend! Robert made the trip memorable with his humour and banter, making everyone feel included so the group bonded quickly over shared chores, jokes and campfires — I'll remember the people as much as the tour. There was incredible scenery, wonderful wildlife and flora, beautiful hikes and quirky little places along the way, and it never felt rushed, with the day's plan always clearly laid out. Camping was a touch cold in July, but stargazing from the swag was amazing and only added to it. You won't find a better itinerary for the Red Centre, including Coober Pedy, if you like adventure off the beaten track.
I was fortunate to do the Uluru to Adelaide tour and it was simply incredible. Our guide Robert wasn't just knowledgeable and accommodating — he was bursting with positivity, connected the group and worked extremely hard for seven straight days to make it a week none of us will forget. There's too much good to list; I'll just say that if you ever get the chance to do this tour, take it. One of the best, most diverse weeks of travel I've done.
I had an amazing experience on the seven-day Uluru to Adelaide tour. I loved it all, but if I had to pick one highlight it would be seeing Uluru up close and doing the base walk — a dream since I arrived in Australia, and it didn't disappoint. I also loved sleeping in the swags and staying at the underground motel in Coober Pedy. Rob is an amazing guide who made the experience even better. Highly recommend if you're looking to see Uluru or simply have an Australian outback experience.

I had such a fabulous time on this trip, I cannot recommend it enough! We spent the perfect amount of time exploring Uluru before making our way down to Adelaide, with so many incredible stops along the way! Kings Canyon and Coober Pedy were definitely highlights. Our tour guide, Robert was truly one of a kind and made the entire experience unforgettable. He was a wealth of knowledge, had great time management and was super down to earth. I did the 7 day Uluru to Adelaide tour
Where to start with all the many amazing things I saw during this tour? On several clear nights there were so many stars to see from the warmth of the swag without having to move more than my head. And the swag was very comfortable to sleep in - I was kinda dreading that part, completely unnecessary as it turned out. There were the camels that turned up for the sunrise at Kata Tjuta. The wild horses along the road. The countless kangaroos and emus we saw in the Flinders Ranges. The small snake at the Garden of Eden, during the King's Canyon Rim Walk which was a great hike all on its own. The vastness of the country we travelled through, when it seemed the flat plains would go on forever.
Eli was a fantastic guide. He was enthusiastic, friendly and very easy to talk to. Also very knowledgeable about the aboriginal cultures of the regions we travelled through. He pointed out so many animals and plants, with stories about their historic background as well as giving us a lot of current information. And he knew the best spots for watching sunsets as well as wild animals.
It was seriously the best group tour I ever took part in. The perfect mix of hikes, sightseeing and relaxing while being surrounded by stunning landscapes

I was on the Uluru to Adelaide 7 day tour and it was the best tour I have ever experienced. The guides Micheal and Brendan were amazing and I couldn’t have asked for better ones. The camping aspect was amazing (except for the dingos and ants) but the people in the group made up for it. The food was great and the activities included were fantastic. I can tell you it was an amazing experience and I would absolutely do it again.

I didn’t have experience with group tours like this, but I’m so glad I made the decision to join! Dan took tour guiding to another level. He shared so much about the culture, nature and experiences. Also, he brought the group together with his funny stories. Would definitely recommend to do this trip! Beautiful places, the itinerary was amazing. Because of this experience I decided to book another tour, the 10 day Adelaide to Perth tour in April. My expectations were high this time, but I can tell this tour exceeded my expectations big time. Brendan was so enthusiastic in everything he did, from telling about nature to cooking the best meals I ever had on a tour. We had a very nice group of people which made the experience even better. We visited so many beautiful places, even though the weather was not always as we’ve hoped. Brendan was always quick to react, changing the itinerary so we would still have a fun activity to do. Also I would like to mention the people behind the scenes, the contact I had with Ruby over the email, when I was not sure yet if I would be able to join. Afterwards when I wanted to change an activity in my booking. Always friendly and very helpful. Thank you for that, it feels nice to know that the people you’re in contact with are genuine. Loved the tour from Uluru to Adelaide. The trips and program was really nice: seen cool things, did nice hikes. The first night in a swag can be a bit uncomfortable, but sleeping under the stars is definitely an experience I didn't want to miss. Alex was a really good guide and she made really tasty food!

This tour was one of the best things I've done in my time in Australia. We started in Adelaide and travelled through some really amazing places in a slept on South Australia to Uluru. The tour was really well organised, with so much to do it was busy but also really relaxed. Cost of the tour may seem high but with most food included we spent very little for the week! We got to see the most unique landscapes and wildlife in a lovely small group setting. The camping facilities were great and the swags comfy. The food provided was amazing with plenty of variety unlike other tours I've been on. The standout of the tour was our guide Jack.He went above and beyond at all times for us to answer the most difficult questions we threw at him! He was extremely informative and passionate, which made the tour a real experience rather than just a trip to see the sights. He was really conscious of repeating customs and traditions in sacred areas and passionate about leaving no trace and conservation in national parks which is important to me. He was brilliant with any issues and most importantly was a great laugh and we all had so much fun. I would highly recommend untamed and Jack for a real once in lifetime experience.

A beautiful journey through the desert with magnificent places visited. Carlos was a fantastic and kind guide who was great to have with us for those 8 days. Thanks to this trip, we discovered incredible landscapes. The Australian desert is truly a unique experience. We wish we had been informed of Carlos's 2-hour delay on the first day. This would have allowed us to avoid waiting so long at the hotel reception. We therefore lost an afternoon of our itinerary, unable to explore on our own while waiting without any updates. We were very surprised by the meals on the first few days. The portions were clearly insufficient for 8 people (even less so for a vegetarian in the group who had specified her dietary needs). Fortunately, this improved midway through the trip. We would have liked to learn more about the national parks we visited. The itinerary also changed; we were unable to visit William Creek. The value for money wasn't very good.
We'll keep fond memories of this trip. We thank the guide for his dedication and patience!
“Dream of a lifetime”
What an incredible experience adventuring with Dan and Marianne from Uluru to Adelaide. They were the first up and the last to bed every day, Marianne making sure and extra sure for our Vegetarian that we had such great meals and snacks and helping everyone whenever she saw their need. Dan drove us capably and safely all those kilometres and went to so much trouble to make all our experiences fascinating and valuable with his deep knowledge and insights. I recommend this energetic and caring pair, putting us first at every opportunity and making sure everything went smoothly during rain events and necessary changes of plans. This trip exceeded our expectations because of Dan and Marianne’s efforts. My swag and sleeping bag were cosy and comfortable and this was a special element of the trip. The price for this trip is exceptionally good value. I strongly recommend it.

We did the eight-day Outback tour from Uluru to Adelaide and our expectations were definitely exceeded. Our group and our guide Eli were amazing and we had a lot of fun — a perfect mix of culture, nature and adventure. One of our highlights in Australia, and we'd absolutely recommend it.
I had an amazing time on the tour from Uluru to Adelaide. The group size was perfect — eleven wonderful people who made the journey even better — and a special shout-out to our guide Gary, whose helpfulness and uplifting energy kept the atmosphere vibrant throughout. The camping spots were fantastic, with well-maintained showers and facilities at every stop, and even as someone who's not a huge fan of camping I found it surprisingly comfortable. There's a fair amount of driving, but the itinerary was packed with exciting adventures and fascinating places. Highly recommend this well-organised journey through the Outback.

This was easily one of the best tours I have ever done! Tour guide Dan was amazing! He knew everything about every rock, tree, and bird that we encountered on our trip from Uluru to Adelaide. Highly recommand it to everyone!
An incredible experience — amazing views, beautiful sunrise hikes, swag bush camping and so much geological and cultural history to learn. Our small group created a lovely relaxed dynamic where no one was left out. Our guide Sid is awesome at what he does; he kept me engaged with his authenticity and genuine interest in people and place, and stayed professional and calm even when things went a little south (a blown tyre with a long drive ahead), adapting the itinerary while keeping our trust. He noticed what each person wanted to learn and taught to it. A shout-out to trainee guide Gary too. This part of Australia is so unique compared to the east coast — definitely in my top two tours.
