Our Perth to Exmouth return trip was great, with many sights along the way - swimming with manta rays, Shell Beach and Kalbarri National Park were highlights. Doug, our driver, guide and cook, was friendly, efficient, fun and helpful. We had comfortable ensuite accommodation and a comfortable bus. Would recommend Autopia.

Very good stays, with a fairly fast pace but magnificent landscapes and wild animals throughout the journey! (I have a slight preference for Monkey Mia with the dolphins by the beach at sunset, but Shell Beach is also beautiful!),
I recommend the excursions to Coral Bay with the manta rays and/or Exmouth with the whale sharks; it is definitely something you will not regret!
The interventions by the guide Jeff are also very relevant and add a little extra to the trip.

The 7-day Perth to Exmouth tour was once in a lifetime. A special thanks to our wonderful guide Doug, who made sure we got the most out of each day and thoughtfully catered to dietary needs. The wildlife while snorkelling in Coral Bay and Exmouth was sensational, with plenty of hidden gems along the way. Expect long drives, but in a comfortable bus with plenty of stops.

The Perth to Exmouth return tour was fantastic! Our 7-day trip from June 1st was amazing, thanks to the many memorable highlights and the outstanding leadership of our tour guide, Doug. We also had the best group of warm, friendly people, which made the whole experience even more special.
Doug is a real asset to Autopia. His personality, positive attitude and caring nature showed in everything he did, especially when making sure everyone on the tour was comfortable and well looked after. He kept things organised, drove safely, did a great job with the meals, and stayed professional the whole time. His constant smile and friendly approach really made us feel like we were part of a big family, and I can safely say our whole group was very happy to have him as our guide.
Every stop and activity offered something unique and memorable. I really enjoyed the walk at Kalbarri National Park, and the 25m abseiling with Kalbarri Abseiling was such a thrill. The instructor, Cole, was great, so I would highly recommend it to anyone - no need to be nervous like I was! I’d also highly recommend the optional swim with manta rays and the whale shark tour - they were both fantastic, and I’m so glad I did them.
The Autopia booking team was also great to communicate with. Their prompt and helpful replies made the booking process easy and stress-free, which was very much appreciated.
If I had to change anything it would be to do the one-way trip option and stay longer at Exmouth, then fly back to Perth from there. There is so much more I would have loved to do there.

It was an amazing trip!! The West Coast has the most diverse landscape I've ever seen, from red desert to turquoise bay! He took great care of us all, providing useful tips, helping everyone as much as he could and making sure the group got along, with great vibes. The trip felt well organized, and thanks to that, I could enjoy it fully! It is indeed a lot of time on the road to reach Exmouth, but I can tell you it is well worth it! I was travelling alone and was hesitant at first, but it is without a doubt a great option for solo travellers: the group felt like a family by the end of the week, and I really recommend it to everyone unsure about travelling with strangers. I had a great trip to monkey Mia as we didn’t make it to Exmouth due to cyclone Narelle. This is my first solo trip and I loved it … making great memories and friends along the way. Our trip was cut to four days because cyclone damage closed Exmouth, which was disappointing, but it was still worthwhile and action-packed, with the dolphins at Monkey Mia not disappointing. As my first solo trip with a mixed-age, international group who all got along, I loved it and would recommend it.

This was the most inspiring adventure we’ve ever been on. From the moment that Geoff picked us up and throughout the whole trip he was the most engaging and knowledgeable guide that you could wish for. Fun, full of information, attentive to everyone’s individual needs and a genuinely nice guy! Every day had its own individual highlights from The Pinnacles to Natures window to swimming with Manta Rays (which we highly recommend especially if you’re not sure and Geoff’s reassurance made sure my mum didn’t miss out) you get to see what the West Coast is all about.
However, the trip with Geoff was so much more than advertised, Geoff’s passion bought so much more to the party. from taking the group to ethically explore turtles nesting and hatching (extra shoutout to Gus for also going above and beyond to ensure we didn’t miss this either), to photo opportunities that he didn’t want us to miss. Making our trip so unique and unforgettable!
Snorkelling with the Manta Rays was top of our list and we couldn’t recommend Coral Bay Eco Tours enough, who provided such an epic and safe day out.
Finally, we chose private accommodation and we weren’t disappointed. If you’re thinking of this option and want to steer away from
Hostels definitely go with this option. This was an adventure we will never forget and we can’t thank Autopia tours and Geoff enough
“Great trip!”
Great trip and a great way to see the west coast without having to drive it all on your own! Went as a solo 23y/o and had such a great time. Different ages and different groups (couples, mum and son, solo). We only made it as far as Monkey Mia due to the impact of the cyclone, however refunds are (hopefully) on the way back for trips and the rest of the time. Despite the trip getting cut short, it really was great and our guide, Geoff was also amazing at telling us important information but also leaving us to it! Couldn’t recommend enough :)

I came on this trip pretty unsure about how I would find it, being solo I thought I might feel a bit lonely. From the first hour the people on the trip turned into family and we had the most amazing time together. Geoff our guide was so inspirational, caring, kind, informative and tended to absolutely everything for us on the whole trip. He really is a treasure and a credit to the company. The trip wouldn’t have been so special without him. He went above and beyond and made sure the trip catered to everyone. All ages and personalities. Long drives, but broken up with plenty of stops. There were options to join the main activities or just relax at the beach, and the laid-back vibe and helping with meals created real team bonding. Our driver-guide Rachel was amazing.

I recently did the West Coast adventure from Perth to Monkey Mia and it was an outstanding experience from start to finish.
The itinerary was very well planned – we covered incredible locations including the Pinnacle Desert, Murchison Gorges, Kalbarri National Park, Shark Bay and Shell Beach. Every stop offered something unique, and the balance between travel, exploration and downtime was spot on.
A big credit goes to Geoffrey. He managed the trip professionally, kept everything organised, and created a relaxed and positive environment for the group. You can see he genuinely cares about the experience for everyone, not just running a tour.
Overall, this trip exceeded expectations. It was a great reset, a chance to experience some of the best of Western Australia, and something I would highly recommend to anyone considering it.

Geoff was absolutely incredible. He made memories that will last a lifetime, you can clearly see his passion for his job and the west coast which rubs off on the travellers. We got to see so many incredible wildlife and experiences (the hatching baby turtles were my favourite) and I couldn’t recommend this enough. Just back from this epic seven-day trip up the West Coast, which I can confidently recommend. Geoff led our tour and made it an excellent week, with varied locations ranging from remote towns like Geraldton to beachfront resorts like Monkey Mia. Standout moments for me were the dolphins on the beach at dawn, searching for turtle hatchlings at night with Geoff leading the way, spotting a shark from Eagle Bluff and relaxing at Coral Bay. I'd strongly recommend the optional activities, especially snorkelling with the manta rays, and although turtle nesting isn't on the schedule, our guide Geoff and his colleague Gus went above and beyond so we could see it. Geoff was an incredible guide who connected with everyone and made the trip huge fun, and preparing meals together built a real sense of community. My tips would be to pay a little more for the private room and to do the snorkelling whenever you can.

My sister and I joined this backpacker-style adventure with a harmonious group of eleven from all over the world, aged 19 to 70. It was moderately paced and pleasant, apart from Exmouth being extremely hot and a power cut of several hours at the accommodation. Our guide, Adam Knight, was amazing, caring and diligent, with exceptional local knowledge, taking us from sunrise to sunset and searching the shores at night for nesting turtles and hatchlings. He kept the group safe while still being adventurous, and I'd recommend him to any company.

I made lots of new friends, the accommodation was clean and comfortable, and I actually enjoyed the lunch wraps, freshly made with plenty of filling. Better than I expected for an outback trip.

Beautiful locations, and our guide Adam went above and beyond to accommodate the group, with the Gwoonwardu Mia cultural centre in Carnarvon a real highlight. The long drives were nicely planned with regular breaks. My main suggestions would be a second guide, since one person doing all the driving, guiding and cooking felt like very long days, along with slightly larger portions, less rushed meals and a bit more history and culture at each stop.

My only tiny negative is that a larger coach with more leg room and overhead storage would have been more comfortable.

I booked last minute on a friend's recommendation and am so glad I did. Geoff and Adam were fantastic guides, full of positive energy and interesting facts, and Geoff went out of his way to get me onto the same Ningaloo reef tour as everyone else. Dietary needs are catered for, and cooking some meals together is a great way to get to know the group of 22 who ranged widely in age. Some days are long and it's a little pricey, but it's well worth it to see a part of Australia few others do, with amazing wildlife and turtles at Turquoise Bay.

I'm delighted I booked onto this tour. Its perfect if you want a quick overview of the West Coast and are limited on time. Be prepared, its a LOT of driving. It was well organised, hostels were perfect, and food was great (veggie food too!). The best part of the tour was Geoff the tour guide. He was knowledgeable, thoughtful, organised and so caring. He shared lots of information with us about the national parks, animals and add on experiences. Geoff also shared some personal stories which touched my heart. A big thank you Geoff!! Some constructive feedback would be to assign people the cooking/cleaning in the evenings so it's fair. I felt it was always the same people helping out. The bus was a little cramped - especially at the back. It would be nice to have overhead storage on the bus to free up space. Also, it would be nice if we could swap seats every day. You cannot see much of the wild life at the back of the bus. In order to get to know everyone on the tour it would have been cool to organise some games in the evening. Just a thought.

Clear on the daily itinerary, making sure plenty of loo and snack stops, knowledgeable on all stops/activities on the tour, and always going the extra mile for every guest. By far the best tour leader I have traveled with you are lucky to have him.
Ideally I would have loved it to be over 10 days to allow a little more time in some spots, however this 7 days tour was perfect for my budget as it is a fair price for the distance and quality of the tour.
I would definitely rebook another tour with this company.

“Great way to see remote north west WA”
Great tour through some remote and very beautiful parts of the north west coast of WA. Highlight for me was snorkelling Ningaloo. Beth, our guide was a superwoman, driving long distances, keeping us all fed and happy and sharing a her passion and knowledge of WA.
Bus was a bit old and the seats are tough going for such a long drive. Recommend bringing a good pillow to sit on.
I’d never done any kind of tour before but fell in love with Australia all over again in this trip. Our tour was a diverse with people of all ages, I really enjoyed the diversity.
I would definitely do a tour again and would love to spend more time in north western WA.
“Great experience”
We saw a great number of beautiful places in WA. When the main attraction didn't show up our guide Beth always came up with alternatives.
We had the chance to observe dolphins, kangaroos, emus, turtles and cockatoos in the wild. Most of us did additional activities like ab seiling, snorkeling (alas no manta ray), sandboarding, short hikes. A big factor for these kind of tours is the group (which worked surprisingly well with an age range from 20+ to 60+) the guide and the interaction between all participants. And Beth's enthusiasm when showing us something she found was always refreshing.
In general a great experience and i would anytime book another tour with Beth again.

You will quite often get up very early 5-6am. And bring a cushion... The seats are quite hard. After 7 days you definitely feel it

“Unforgettable Adventures in Western Australia with Autopia”
I joined this tour as a female solo traveller in mid-September. The week and the experience we had can't really be put into words... It was simply magical! I can only recommend it to everyone, especially those travelling solo (but also friends or couples) who want to explore part of WA's coastline and make new friends, without having to worry about anything.
Not only are the landscapes magnificent, breathtaking, and incredibly beautiful, but the optional activities were worth every dollar and made the group experience even more special. If you're the kind of traveller who likes to learn about the country, the landscape, and its history, who doesn't mind sleeping in shared dorms in hostels, nor early mornings and long hours on the bus, in exchange for jaw-dropping views and new friendships — this tour is for you!
From start to finish, the tour was perfectly organised. Everything ran smoothly, thanks to Geoff. From pick-up, to communication and daily schedules, accommodation, meals, and organising optional activities. I especially liked the app we used to share photos and information with fellow travellers. The group size (10 people plus the guide) was ideal and ensured a lot of flexibility and efficiency, as well as plenty of room on the bus.
Even though the schedule is tight and we spent a lot of time on the bus (it was absolutely worth it), there was enough time to explore at the main stops. The ~3,500 km covered in 7 days are broken up every 1.5–2 hours with toilet breaks, grocery stops, lunch breaks, or stops to explore the area and stretch your legs. So in the end, the drives didn’t feel too long.
The hostel accommodations were all well located and ranged from okay to very nice. Since you pretty much only spend the night at the hostel, it doesn’t really matter that much anyway. Some of them had pools or sea access, which was a plus, even though the weather was on the colder side for a swim. Most of the time, we didn’t have to share the dorms with people outside the group, which was great.
There was a good variety of breakfast options including cereal, muesli, toast and different spreads and always the option to buy your own extras. Lunch was mostly DIY wraps, which was an easy and uncomplicated way to “refuel.” Dinners were generally prepared as a group and were always delicious, varied, and well-balanced.
The activities and places we visited were absolutely stunning and breathtaking! From Pinnacles Desert, Pink Lake, Kalbarri National Park, to different beaches and viewpoints, snorkelling, looking for wildlife, small hikes, abseiling, watching sunsets and stargazing — every wish was met.
I highly recommend booking the optional Mega Fauna Tour to snorkel with whale sharks in Exmouth and the Ningaloo Reef Snorkel in Coral Bay, where you can swim with manta rays. Both were mind-blowing experiences, and professional photos were taken and shared afterwards. It’s best to book them beforehand as they sometimes sell out quickly, though there were also a few leftover spots available once the tour started — which was amazing!
I could have continued this tour forever! That being said, I would have loved a bit more time in a few places. Like an extra half-day or full day in Exmouth, Monkey Mia, and Coral Bay, for example. I could easily see this trip being extended to 10 days instead of 7. That would make it feel a bit less rushed and give more time to relax, explore the towns, spend time at the beach, or do some shopping.
And now, to the man who made the whole experience even more wholesome: Geoff, our tour guide and driver. He went above and beyond to make this trip special for everyone. From stopping along the road to show us wildlife, to making sure each person was booked into optional activities (ideally not all by themselfs but with someone else from the group). He was highly professional and extremely well-structured and organised throughout the trip. His way of communicating, sharing his personal stories, and sharing his passion for the area, culture and nature and passion for travel is unmatched and was highly infectious!
While Geoff was approachable, kind, easy to talk to, and always in a good mood, his knowledge was also incredibly impressive! I loved the stories and insights, the playlists, and the quiz game that made the long bus rides much more enjoyable. Thanks to his openness, it was easy for a group of strangers with different backgrounds, ages (21–36), and interests, to connect and bond quickly. The group dynamic was amazing! He wasn’t just the guide. He was part of the group and a big reason why everyone had such a great time. Geoff had some really long days. Waking up early to prepare breakfast, driving all day, organising dinner prep and clean-up, handling grocery shopping, maintaining the bus, and making sure everyone was okay. This didn’t go unnoticed, and it was deeply appreciated. Geoff, you made this trip unforgettable and unique for all of us — thank you!
Tips for Fellow Travellers:
- Bring a power bank. Hostels sometimes have limited power outlets. Also useful for charging electronics on the bus.
- Pack a daypack with the essentials for the day's activities (shoes, flipflops, clothing, bikini, towel, etc.) to bring on the bus with you, as your main luggage is stored in the trailer and not easily accessible during the day.
- Use easy-to-pack luggage. You’ll be unpacking and repacking almost every day.
- Bring layers. Especially in winter or early spring. A warm jacket and/or raincoat is essential. Temperatures vary during the day and there’s often a breeze.
- Be prepared for limited phone reception. Download music, books, or movies in advance. Or take the opportunity to talk with fellow travellers, nap, or enjoy the view and spot wildlife. All accommodations had Wi-Fi.
- Bring a good camera or phone. And make sure you have enough storage. A waterproof case is a plus for snorkelling.
- Sit back, relax, and enjoy – you’re in for an incredible ride!
“Unforgettable10”
I joined the 7-day Exmouth Explorer Tour by Autopia Tours, starting in Perth and looping all the way up to Exmouth and back. It was my very last trip before leaving Australia, and I went into it alone and with pretty low expectations. But from the very first day, this tour turned into something far more special than I ever could have hoped for.
The itinerary was packed with iconic West Coast highlights. Monkey Mia, the endless coastline and of course the Ningaloo Reef. The early morning wwalk to Nature's window was magical and snorkeling with manta rays felt like living inside a documentary. Every stop felt perfectly timed, even the simple supermarket runs, and we never felt rushed.
A huge part of what made this trip unforgettable was Geoff, our guide. He shared stories during the drives - personal, thoughtful, inspiring, sometimes funny, but always real. You could feel how much he loves his job and how deeply he cares about creating meaningful experiences for everyone. He's a true heart of gold human, and I am garteful that he was my guide during this week.
Those seven days felt like two weeks in the best way possible. I would do this tour again in a heartbeat and recommend it to anyone.

Very nice spots and Beth was a great tourguide and a very good chief. Bus was rather aged and not really enough comfortable for such long rides. This is the reason why we took a flight back from Exmouth to Perth. Nevertheless, the tour was really worth going on. For those not abseiling in Kilbarry NP, an alternative programme woulld be nice.
Hotels were very good and having booked private rooms wasr really worth the money.

We really enjoyed our tour up to Exmouth. Our tour guide, Beth, was brilliant and took us to some lovely sunrise and sunset spots. This was a great itinerary and we saw lots of fantastic scenery and wildlife. It was fairly fast paced with long days which allowed us to get travel a fair distance. We had 14 on the bus which was a good size with a good group. We did the private rooms option. Cost effective with most meals included however they were basic with cereal and toast for breakfast and wraps for lunch but at least it was healthy. Geoff was our guide and he was fantastic, been on many tours and he is one of the best. Very dedicated, works extremely hard and just a genuine nice guy.

This was an incredible experience of a lifetime, ticking many bucket list items after travelling to loads of different special destinations in the past.
In addition to seeing so many beautiful locations along the west coast of Oz, the highlights for me were definitely the two snorkelling tours. Swimming with the Manta Rays and an amazing experience of being just a couple of metres above a Tiger Shark in Coral Bay, followed by the awesome humpback whales and whale sharks trip in Ningaloo will be eternally etched in my mind as a peak experience!
Being a solo traveller in my early 60's, the private accommodation option suited me best and the group of 14 people on the tour were great and bonded really well together.
The Ningaloo whale shark tour was physically challenging, but definitely worth it, and the crew on board [especially Jake on the Jazz 2 boat Ningaloo Marine Interactions] was incredibly helpful in making the day possible by hauling me back on the boat after each snorkel!
Finally, I want to pay tribute to our amazing tour guide and driver Geoff of Autopia Tours. He is very special and truly puts his whole heart and soul into making this the best experience for all of us, at so many levels. Be prepared for lots of early morning starts and long drives, but be assured of his heartfelt passion for you to have your best experience and to give you an unforgettable and comfortable trip [especially comfort and leg stretch break stops every 2 hours!].

Our Perth to Exmouth tour was packed with beautiful stops and activities. We all pitched in to help prepare the meals, which was a nice touch. Our guide Beth was really attuned to the group's needs and to the ancient, unique landscapes we passed through - just so enjoyable.

My wife and I went on this tour and really enjoyed the experience there were only 11 of us and I was the only male. Our tour guide ,driver,chef was called Beth she was absolutely brilliant giving really great information about the destinations and cooking and driving it was a really good experience we had never slept in backpacker hostels before so we were a little apprehensive but it worked out well in the the only thing we could fault was the minibus had seen better days had a consistent whims from the back axle and had seen better days no legroom and a bone shaker

Yesterday I came back from the 7 Day Exmouth Explorer Tour - tired, but very happy and content.
It was one of the best tours, I ever went on. A week full of highlights with great people and a passionate guide.
You can tell, that Geoff not only loves, what he does, but is furthermore dedicated to give everyone the best experience possible. He drove us savely from Perth to Exmouth and back, shared his knowledge and his life story with us and was always positive and full of good energy, making this tour truly memorable.
I enjoyed every day of the tour, even the sixth, which consits mostly of driving.
Oftentimes I didn't really notice, what distances we traveled and how many hours we spent on the bus, because of the interesting facts and stories, the good atmosphere in the bus and the beautiful landscapes, I could see through the windows.
I am thankful to Geoff for recommending the snorkeling-tours in Coral Bay and Exmouth.
Swimming first with Manta Rays and the next day with Whale Sharks were both unforgettable experiences.
My personal highlight was seeing dolphins up close at the Monkey Mia Resort - truly magical.
But I also enjoyed the other activities like the hike at the Z-Bend-River-Trail or experiencing sun rise at Nature's Window.
If you only have a certain amount of time, don't want to travel on your own and want to enjoy the beauty of the West Coast, I can definetly recommend this tour.

This 7-day tour was an incredible way to explore some of the most stunning and remote parts of Western Australia. From the Pinnacles to Monkey Mia to swimming at Ningaloo Reef—each destination offered something unique and beautiful.
Our guide Doug was a true standout. He was extremely knowledgeable, well-organized, and created a fun, inclusive vibe for everyone. He also went out of his way to accommodate my dietary needs, which made a huge difference.
The bus rides are long and the accommodations are basic, but if you embrace that you’ll have a fantasic time. Highly recommend!

What a amazing trip! I loved every minute of it.
We have seen an enormous amount of different landscapes in this one week..
The hostels we stayed in were clean and had everything we needed.
The food was nutritious, and easy to prepare. All special dietary wishes were taken into consideration, glutenfree, veggie and vegan.
We had a lovely group, all the ages between 20 and 85 and we all connected more than fine. We had lots of fun doing this trip. The option of taking an easier trail was always there for whoever needed that.
Our guide, Geoff is the best guide you can imagine. He made sure we would get to all the beautiful spots on the right time. He explained all about the country, the indigenous inhabitants, the culture, the landscapes etc. He is very knowledgeable and has all the patience in the world to answer our questions.
Not only is he friendly, strict with timing (so all can go smooth and well), he touched our hearts with his personal stories and his wise words about living your best life.
I can highly recommend taking this tour and wish for you to get Geoff as your guide.

Had a time and laugh. Trip is jam packed with things to see. They are very far apart so a lot of the trip is driving. However, very much worth it!
Had an amazing group and good fun with the lead Monty who worked tirelessly during the trip.
Monty was a man who can take you anywhere in his van. With beaches of gold and murder tales of old. There was no chance to run out of fun.
Be warned, some hostels are basic, but you will be in the middle of nowhere often to see the amazing sites and lounge around on beaches not the hostel.
If I could do it all again like new I would.
Joined the 7 day Exmouth tour from Perth and it was amazing! Monty was the best guide I've had -- knowledgeable, friendly and a great driver. We missed seeing a whale shark due to a storm, but still had a fantastic time. Highly recommend, and I'm now planning an Autopia Uluru tour next.

Just completed the 7-day Perth to Exmouth return trip with Doug as our guide - he deserves a raise. Knowledgeable, friendly and patient, he worked hard behind the scenes to keep everything running smoothly. It's a lot of driving and fairly rough camping-style accommodation with early starts, so it suits adventurous travellers rather than those wanting five-star comfort. We saw incredible beaches, national parks and wildlife including sharks, manta rays, turtles and dolphins - the snorkelling and sunsets were unbeatable.
A great tour with lots of interesting places, and a very helpful, knowledgeable guide-driver in Gus. There's a lot of driving, but I'd recommend it.

Where to begin?
Beth, both our tour guide, driver, food prep, fountain of knowledge and all round beautiful person. This tour is made special by those that love their job and Beth puts in so much hard work and nothing is too much trouble. If the management read this review, then don’t ever lose this young lady, she laughed & smiled the whole time and everyone were friends within the first couple of hours into this epic adventure - give her a raise!
The group (14 of us including Beth) from very early twenties up to mid 70’s were a wonderful mixed group who all got along and felt like an extended family by the time we had the first meal.
The places you visit along the way were all incredible and I’ve posted loads of pictures as this review would just go on & on.
I’ve no head for heights but even I did the abseiling and loved it, highly recommend you try this.
The two special excursions on day 4 & 5 - swimming with Manta Rays & then second day swimming with Whale Sharks. These are an absolute must!! Once in a lifetime activity which everyone loved. Stunning creatures and if you can float and like water then it’s for you.
There are very early starts and there is a lot of driving but when you get to stop and marvel at soo many truly beautiful and stunning places then it’s very worth while. There’s no other way to get to these wonderful parts of Western Australia but with plenty of toilet & snack stops you’ll love it.
I was happy to stay in all the shared accommodation which was basic but perfectly adequate.
Loved every single moment of this experience and it was very sad when we dropped people off at the end, friendships had been made and there were some teary eyes.

This trip was absolutely incredible. Beth - our driver/ guide/ chef/ den mother - was incredible, sharing her knowledge and staying cheerful despite long hours on the road. While there was a lot of driving involved (WA is a big place!), the bus was comfortable and we took plenty of breaks - and it got us to the most amazing places!
If you're able to, I highly, HIGHLY recommend that you do the manta ray and whale shark experiences - they were completely magical. I will treasure the memories from this trip for years to come.

Just got back from an absolutely incredible 7 days travelling up the West coast of Australia with my brother and his girlfriend. A massive thank you to our amazing tour guide Geoff! He was super friendly and informative and was constantly wanting to make the experience as great as possible for everyone on the tour, accommodating to individual people's needs/requests. The accommodation was basic but all clean and fairly decent (some nicer than others). There was a lot of driving involved (due to the amount of distances covered in a relatively short space of time) but the driving was very smooth and we would stop regularly for breaks. The scenery was also so beautiful and vast, travelling through so many different landscapes and I actually enjoyed the long drives through the beautiful remote West Australian coast. Every stop was incredible- especially sunrise at Kalbarri National Park "Nature's Window", the Pinnacles desert, pink lake, Monkey Mia, stargazing in Exmouth and of course the infamous Ningaloo reef (where we swam w manta rays, reef sharks, sting rays and the magical whale sharks!) The snorkel tours in the Ningaloo reef as well as the abseiling in Kalbarri were an additional cost of the trip but definitely worth it and so well organised)! Our group was amazing and all in all, we had such an unforgettable week travelling through and exploring the best the West coast has to offer. It truly is breathtakingly beautiful and the memories made will stick with me for a very long time. Thank you to Geoff for sharing your stories and going the extra mile to make the trip so special. Had a fantastic week travelling the West Coast. Guide Dougie exceeded every expectation - I don't usually write reviews, but his energy made the whole trip even better.
My wife and I travelled Perth to Exmouth with driver/guide/chef Doug, who did a brilliant job over the roughly 1,600km journey, with regular stops for food, fuel and toilets. We paid extra for a private room rather than the dorms and it was hotel-standard. Doug cooked great communal meals, and despite worrying it might be a party bus, the mixed-age group of twenties to seventies bonded like family. A memorable trip - Doug was the star.
This trip suited everyone from teenagers to travellers in their seventies. It was well planned, with plenty of stops for snacks and stretches, and we loved meeting people from all over the world. We'll definitely book a guided tour with Autopia again.

The way from Perth up to Exmouth is long and hot. And you will get some annoying flies in your face. But this was all worth it to see all the beautiful places along the way up to Exmouth. With Geoff, we've had an excellent tour guide, who would not only tell us a lot about the different spots we've been, but was also very well organized and made sure, we're feeling just fine during our trip. And of course the possibility to swim with manta rays or whale sharks (on additional costs) was just about the highlight of the tour. Highly recommended!

This September I had the most unforgettable experience on a 7-day tour through Western Australia. It was my first time visiting WA, and what I expected to be a great trip quickly turned into one of the most life-changing adventures I’ve ever had.
WA’s natural beauty is beyond words. From the dazzling coral reefs to endless stretches of red desert and unique flora, every stop offered something breathtaking. Thanks to our incredible tour guide Geoff, we were able to see and learn about it all in such a meaningful way. His knowledge, kindness, and passion made every moment special, especially when teaching us about the land and the culture of the Indigenous people.
The wildlife encounters were truly unforgettable—we swam with whale sharks, dolphins, manta rays, and turtles, and spotted kangaroos, emus, and even sharks! It honestly felt like stepping into another world.
What made the tour even more special were the people. In just a week, strangers became close friends as we shared stories, laughed together, and learned from one another.
Even though this tour covers the longest distance you can travel in 7 days in Australia, the journey was comfortable and never felt tiring. The bus was fully air-conditioned, seats were comfy, and there were plenty of fun stops (and even a few music jam sessions).
My personal ratings:
• Food: 10/10 – Nutritious, delicious, and always satisfying (special mention to the curry and spaghetti bolognese ).
• Comfort: 9/10 – Great bus, good accommodations, and I loved the shared stays which made it more fun.
• Activities: 10/10 – Thrilling, exciting, and unforgettable.
• Tour Guide: 20/10 – Geoff was simply outstanding: wise, compassionate, and inspiring.
Overall, this tour exceeded every expectation. It wasn’t just a holiday—it was an adventure filled with beauty, learning, and connection. I left with lifelong memories and friendships, and I couldn’t recommend it more highly.

I’ve done a lot of tours during my travels around the world but this tour is the best I’ve done. It was made so special by the wildlife encounters that we had which were so lucky. This trip ticked off many bucket list moments for me including seeing dolphins at Monkey Mia, swimming with Manta Rays at Ningaloo reef and watching turtle hatchlings leave their nest and make their way to the sea for the first time. It was a magical trip all made possible by our amazing guide Geoff. Geoff is an incredible tour guide and a truly lovely human. Geoff worked so hard to make the trip the best example for everyone. Nothing was too much for him and you can tell that he wants to provide the best tour for you. It was a pleasure to be on his tour and one of the best experiences of my six months travels. The only thing I would point out to anyone booking this trip is that it is a lot of travelling to do in a week and you spend a lot of time on the bus. If you have the time I’d suggest taking two weeks to do the distance but if you only have a week to explore the west coast then this tour is perfect. Thank you Geoff for the trip of a life time!

The week-long trip along the west coast with Autopia I can wholeheartedly recommend! We had an absolutely brilliant time and were offered plenty of highlights. My personal highlights were the Ningaloo Reef, Nature’s window in the Kalbarri NP, the Pinnacles and the Lancelin Sand Dunes. You just have to be aware that this means spending a lot of time on the bus for a week.
The accommodations were all impeccable, the tour group with 10 people pleasantly small. The meals were almost all included, the dinner was very simple but delicious and filling.
Geoff was the best guide you could ask for, the good mood was just infectious. He always made sure everyone had a good time, shared a lot of knowledge about Australia and the region with us, responded to individual wishes and mocked a lot of wildlife for us.
During the tour we got into trouble twice completely through no fault of our own, both times Gus from Autopia was our saviour, so we could continue the journey without any major loss of time. After a traffic accident our bus was no longer fit for purpose, Gus ist drove us a replacement vehicle the same night and on top of that there was even free ice cream as compensation. Even a bushfire could not stop us, within a few hours there was an alternative itinerary and accommodation as a solution. Gus and Autopia just always seem to have a solution ready and basically help all travelers out of trouble, so everything always went carefree for us.

This was one of the best tours I’ve ever done! We were lucky with an incredible group of people, which made the trip amazing. Besides that, the activities we did and the places we saw were so beautiful - literally breathtaking! Include an enormous amount of wildlife (dolphins, sharks, rays, turtles etc.) to that and the best tourguides ever (Doug and Monty) and you have a recipe for the best week of my whole time of traveling in Australia! I was sad it was over and wish it would’ve lasted longer. The drives are long, but with the entertainment, knowledge and planning of the tourguides was this no problem at all. 10/10 recommendation!!!

I recently completed this tour with Autopia and had the most amazing time! Having just finished travelling the East Coast of Australia, I thought nothing could top it—but Western Australia is on another level!
From start to finish, I felt completely safe and well taken care of, and I loved that this tour took us to hidden gems that many travellers might miss if exploring on their own. The itinerary was well-paced, breathtakingly scenic, and full of unforgettable experiences.

Really really amazing tour managed to fit so much in to such a little amount of time, feels like I saw almost all of Western Australia. The bus is not that comfy but it’s okay, Danny is such an amazing tour guide and is capable of being a good friend and very professional when he needs to be, very informative but at the same time feels like you are talking to a mate.
There are regularly scheduled bathroom breaks on the longer bus journeys so there was always an opportunity to buy enough water and use the toilet
Swimming with manta rays was an optional extra but I would absolutely recommend it they don’t charge enough it was incredible
The hostels were hostels the quality varied but you get what you pay for, it was bearable, it was my first time ever in hostels and I’m not terrified of them now if that tells you anything
Included food was mainly wraps during the day and then a group cooked meal at night, I’m a very picky eater and I never went hungry so I was impressed and surprised
Overall could not recommend enough have already told all my friends and family it was one of the best holidays ever

I did this tour to experience the west coast of Australia, the nature, the wildlife and general beauty.
This tour fulfilled that, although it wasn’t without a few hiccups. We got caught in a Cyclone in Coral Bay, meaning we unfortunately couldn’t dive the Ningaloo reef (which was a big attraction to book this tour).
Our guide, Geoff, handled this situation expertly, moving the itinerary around, and providing the group with other activities from his wealth of knowledge. One of the highlights was watching sea turtles nesting in Exmouth, which was only possible because Geoff knew the right spots.
The group itself were so friendly (all solo travellers), and we’ve made memories to last a lifetime on this trip.

Had an amazing time!! one of the best ways to explore Western Australia, especially if you are a solo traveler. Amazing tour! We saw so many things, starting from Perth, to the Kalbarri National Park and the Pink Lake, the dolphins at Monkey Mia, Shell Beach, snorkeling with the mantas… The highlight was definitely our wonderful guide Danny, who was friendly and knowledgeable and made sure we all enjoyed our time and had fun! I can’t recommend him enough.
The tour involves a lot of driving and the bus is quite small and can get warm due to the high temperatures, but the stops are worth it, and everything was perfectly timed by Danny to ensure we had regular bathroom breaks, opportunities to buy water and snacks, and enough time to explore and have a swim at the great beaches we stopped at.
I highly recommend doing the snorkeling with mantas in Coral Bay: it is excluded from the price of the tour, but it’s absolutely worth it ($270pp). It’s a day trip (from 7am to 2:30pm) with lunch included, and we got to go snorkeling and see so much marine wildlife including turtles, sharks and mantas. Another highlight was the dolphin experience at Monkey Mia (included in the tour)!
There are 2 options for the tour (shared/private accommodation): the shared one included hostels with mixed dorms of up to 10 people. They are often in the middle of nowhere and with few toilets, but we never had any issues and always had a great time (especially since most people on the tour are backpackers and are used to the hostel life).
I had a wonderful time and absolutely recommend this tour!

I came on this tour solo and got off to a bad start by going to the wrong pick-up point, but our guide Doug called and efficiently helped me find the cheapest way to make the bus, even checking trains and ride costs while staying on the phone, which as a solo traveller I really appreciated. The tour was an incredible experience with a great group, made especially enjoyable because Doug went above and beyond, adaptable, open to suggestions and always happy to accommodate. There were plenty of stops and loo breaks that made the journeys comfortable, and the itinerary was full of amazing things. A great option if you want to see a lot in a short time.

This tour is the best way to visit one part of the West Coast when not enough time to do it on your own. Abseiling and snorkeling with turtles and manta rays was awesome!
I did the 7 day Perth to Exmouth return trip and it was one of the best experiences of my life. Danny, our guide, was fantastic - knowledgeable, passionate and looked after the group brilliantly. Just back from an amazing seven-day trip. Despite the long drives, the rewards of unique encounters like swimming with manta rays and seeing the Pinnacles and Ningaloo Reef were second to none. We were a mixed international group of all ages but gelled really well thanks to Danny, our driver, guide, chef and genuinely lovely man, whose positive, engaging way brought everyone together. The tour was brilliant and covered all of the main highlights… and more between Perth and Exmouth .Geoff our tour guide and bus driver went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable with regular toilet/rest stops ( max time on the bus ~ 2hrs) . Daily grocery store stops were helpful for stocking up on essentials / snacks.
There were 22 in the group with a big age range which made for great conversations during our lunch breaks ( consisting of sandwiches / wraps) and our camp-style dinners where everyone pitched in with prep and cleaning

The tour was full on with over-night stops, excursions, barrier reef snorkeling , swimming with manta rays, dolphin viewing, abseiling, hikes in national park, first-time wildlife sightings, geological points of interest, great photo opportunities and more. I had never experienced the vastness of Western Australia before and swum in the Indian ocean.
From the very start I knew this trip would be amazing, and as my first solo tour it won't be my last. I abseiled a 25m cliff, swam with manta rays and even whale sharks, and loved the sunrise at Natures Window, but it was also the people I met and their travel stories that made it special. Our guide Danny was fun and informative, and his stories and enthusiasm made the whole trip exceed my expectations.

Just finished the Perth the exmouth tour and wow what a week! Our guide Geoff was amazing, made everyone feel included, nothing was ever to much! His passion for travel and tour guiding was evident. It’s so hard to pin point the best part of this tour! Snorkelling in the Ningaloo was a highlight of the trip, not to mention all the stunning beaches visited on route, along with the sunsets and sunrises. Fantastic week. If you’re thinking about doing the tour, just got for it!
This was one of the best group tours we've done. Geoff, our guide and driver, worked incredibly hard to make sure everyone got the most from the remote coast. There were long drives, but plenty of breaks, and the highlights made it worthwhile - sunrise at Nature's Window in Kalbarri National Park, dolphins at Monkey Mia, and swimming with manta rays at Coral Bay and whale sharks at Exmouth. We chose the private accommodation over shared dorms, and the beachfront unit at Monkey Mia was excellent. Camping-style meals with everyone pitching in worked well. Thanks Geoff.
An excellent seven-day Perth to Exmouth tour. The places were interesting, the group added to the experience, and tour leader Geoff made it truly wonderful. He was deeply knowledgeable about the geography, geology, history, wildlife and Aboriginal cultures, hard-working, upbeat and kind, going out of his way to make it memorable for everyone. Pure gold.
Our guide-driver Geoff was an excellent tour leader whose passion, knowledge and experience were outstanding. He went above and beyond, and the way he shared his passion for the country with international guests was inspiring. The three meals a day were well planned, with healthy fresh salads and vegetables. “Perfect WA Tour!”
This trip was simply amazing - we saw pretty much everything there is to see between Perth and Exmouth, most importantly a lot of wildlife - whales, dolphins, rock wallabies, eagles and even a thorny devil. The additional excursions to swim with manta rays and whalesharks were totally worth it!
The accommodations are basic but offer everything you need. The bus was fairly new and comfortable enough. The food was fresh and plenty - the group usually prepared it together, which is a great way to get to know other travellers. Summar guided our 7-day trip from Perth to Exmouth back in August and it made for a brilliant way to take in WA's west coast while she handled all the driving. I felt safe throughout and nothing seemed to faze her. We were well fed with regular breaks to stretch our legs. The trip lived up to its description, and as long as you show up with a good attitude and help with communal cooking and cleaning, you'll come away having really enjoyed it. I'd definitely book with Autopia again.
A trip of a lifetime. As a solo female traveller in my fifties I was nervous, but I needn't have worried, the whole experience far exceeded my expectations, with a great itinerary and amazing things to see and do. Our guide Geoff was knowledgeable, kind and caring, and went above and beyond for everyone. The one thing I'd note is that a bit more communication in the run-up, confirming pick-up details and timings, would have been reassuring, and a slightly more spacious minibus would have been nice given the driving time.

This trip was amazing! We had a fabulous group of people, mixed ages twenties to 60’s. Geoff Homma our tour leader was excellent and totally organised. Breakfast, lunch and dinner for all the group most nights was done extremely well with a mix of meals that were very tasty. We stopped along our drive each day at interesting places & accommodation was good with one location having a beach frontage. Good itinerary with lots of landscape and activities, and a very nice, helpful guide in Geoff. The accommodation was good and dinner well prepared. The only downside was the small bus for 22 passengers, with no room for backpacks and stiff legs each day.

This is quite an intensive tour packed with lots of a activities and travelling. Incredible scenery in the outback, monkey mia, manta rays and whale shark viewing. You will travel 1,200km from Perth to Exmouth and back. Be prepared to wake up early to see the sunrise in Kalbarri Nature's Window. The tour is well organized the tour guide will provide the food but some help with the preparation is required from the participants. Geoff Homma the tour guide, really put the extra effort to keep everybody happy and squeeze in unscheduled activities, with a lot of commentary on Austalian culture and many other topics. Definitely recommended.

“Spectacular Coral Coast tour with Summar from Autopia”
What a great road trip we had from Perth to Exmouth and back , incorporating Kalbarri, Monkey Mia , Coral Bay and the amazing Ningaloo Reef. We absolutely lucked in with our sensational guide Summar who as a solo guide was absolutely brilliant and a fantastic representative for Autopia Tours. Summar, as well as driving nearly 3000km in 7 days, also catered, organised, guided and did what needed to be done to ensure the tour was as memorable as it was. Everything Autopia promised in this tour Summar delivered in spades. And all delivered with a smile and super friendly attitude. The group on the tour gelled superbly thanks to Summar's efforts.
No doubt swimming with whale sharks and manta rays was our absolute highlight, and is something everyone should do in their lifetime. It is well worth the bit extra you pay as an optional tour.
Murchison Gorge, the marvellous Pink Lake, the Pinnacles and the amazing sand dunes at Lancelin were other spectacular sights not to be missed on this tour.

This was the perfect adventure! A great overview of the west coast from Perth to Exmouth. There was a lot of driving (3000km over 7 days) but there were plenty of stops at interesting locations and differing qualities of servos.

Cooking together made for great evening bonding, and although there's a lot of driving, the time passed quickly with two-hourly breaks, and Geoff was a trooper on the long stretches. The itinerary ticked off every place I'd have wanted to see myself, and the optional extras were once-in-a-lifetime and worth it. The only minor downside is the small, cramped bus, but I'll definitely book with Autopia again.

Such a great tour. As a solo female traveller I felt safe, and Autopia took care of everything. Our guide Danny was kind, funny, easygoing and patient, and made the trip as incredible as it was. Highly recommended, as you get to see so much with all the logistics handled for you.
I absolutely loved being part of this adventure. Our guide Andrea was amazing, full of information and stories, the bus was very comfortable, and everything was well organised and prepared. Highly recommended, especially for young people, though the wide age range all enjoyed every minute. A perfect way to reach Exmouth, with Andrea a great and safe driver.
Our 7 day tour from Perth to Exmouth and back was wonderful. Guide Andrea was attentive, competent, empathetic and funny, with plenty of interesting stories about the areas we passed through. The pace was pleasant with highlights between the long comfortable bus rides. Best moments were the dolphins at Monkey Mia, snorkelling the reefs with colourful fish and giant turtles, beautiful deserted beaches, and swimming with whale sharks alongside humpback whale sightings. Hostel nights suited me fine in my fifties, and the group spanned ages 17 to 70 so everyone felt at ease. Would book again without hesitation.

I could write so much, but in summary, my experience of this tour was amazing!
We visited so many beautiful places, offering diverse scenery, mixing outback Australia with pristine coastlines, so much wildlife, and activities. The most was made of sunrises and sunsets, with something always to do, interspersed with enough rest times.
Some nice short walks, nothing too strenuous in the heat. Snorkelling and seeing the marine life was undoubtedly a highlight of the whole tour. My family chose to do a 2 hour snorkelling tour, and a whale shark swimming tour. If you can afford these, you should have no regrets; you certainly shouldnt be here without seeing the whale sharks.
I cannot list all the wildlife I saw on land, in the air, and in the water, but they included an echidna, emus, feral goats, eagles, sharks, an abundance of fish, turtles, dolphins, and of course the whale sharks!
Oh, beware the flies (seasonal?)! Bring a fly net for your head, or buy one at the earliest opportunity.
The weather in April was perfect, including hot. The bus was modern and comfortable. The whole tour experience was so well organised, and never felt rushed.
This was made possible by the fantastic Autopia guide, Geoff, plus we had the bonus of fellow guide, Summer (the tour is typically run by a single guide). Both were so friendly and helpful, and made everyone feel welcome and comfortable. Geoff really demonstrated his knowledge and experience. He also explained all the activites and daily plans very clearly, and dispelled any possible concerns. Both were so enthusiastic and approachable; what a team! If you're lucky enough to have either of these two, you'll be in great hands.
The food was good, and plenty of it. It was rewarding to provide a helping hand with meal prep. Just be aware that drinks are not provided, so have plenty of water available, though usually there were options to purchase onsite and nearby.
Backpacker style accommodation varied from ok, to excellent. Everywhere was clean and tidy, but some older and more basic, some without airconditioning. I don't consider it an issue. Some days included very early starts, including 5 am breakfast. Have plenty of rest overnight to ensure you have energy the following day.
My whole extended family had a wonderful time, filled with so many fantastic memories. I cannot recommend this tour enough, and hope you can enjoy and experience it as I did.

it was a LOT of driving but was beautiful place to visit, the sunrises and sunsets here are unreal. the group was not was not what we was expecting at all. oldest being 84 and youngest 20 (I'm 24), and when your in a travel group in a van for 8 hours a day its tough but I still made amazing friends and enjoyed the trip. Geoff our tour guide was very informative and fun. thankyou

We booked this trip as an add on to our annual family visit to New South Wales. Not having been to WA before we were keen to see something of the Western Australian coast. It was a real eye opening experience! The distance travelled was immense by our UK standards but worth all the hours in the bus. Our huge thanks to our guide, Geoff, who was an absolute mine of information and worked tirelessly to ensure everyone got the most out of the trip.With his leadership throughput the 7 days we experienced The Pinicles, hiking through amazing scenery, witnessing dolphins at close quarters at Monkey Mia, saw turtles and corral reefs, went stargazing as we’d never experienced before, much much more and the icing on the cake, snorkelling with whale sharks off the coast of Exmouth.
Geoff was there throughout with a smile and great organisation and communication for each step of what was an incredible journey. Can thoroughly recommend this trip, it’s a lot of travelling,the bus wasn’t particularly comfortable, it’s different accommodation most nights and you muck in with preparation of lunches and dinners, but the rewards are making great friends and experiences you just wouldn’t find elsewhere.

The trip was amazing, with so many beautiful spots we saw and very interesting experiences we shared. The group was very nice , but above all our guide Geoff was really excellent. That was an amazing experience !!! I’m only 18 so I was I not scared about staying alone and don’t meeting people…. I was wrong!!! There were all the age, all the nationality and that was so cool!!! I made friends from everywhere and saw things that I’ll never see again !! This tour trip will stay in my mind forever!! And Jeff was just incredible and really cool!! I’m glad to had a guide like him if you’re hesitating about doing this tour or not just do it
“It's an adventure, not a holiday”
I wanted to see some of the west coast of Australia, which isn't as easy as the East Coast, especially if you don't have your own form of transport. This trip was perfect for that! There were about 22 of us in total, all varying ages, and some solo or with a friend or two, aswell as a wide range of nationalities.
We were able to see some beautiful places, helping us to appreciate the natural world. We saw wild kangaroos, wild dolphins, turtles, and more if you chose to do an excursion. Everything was well organised, and it helps that the job to ensure it was organised was our leader, Geoff. He was able to ensure the smooth running of the tour, while we focussed on the experiences. Geoff told us about some of his favourite spots, enlightened us with his own stories and experiences, and took us to places we would have known about otherwise.
Breakfasts, lunches, and dinners are included. This is mainly cereals or toast for breakfast, wraps for lunch, and a mixture of meals in the evenings. Everyone gets stuck in to set up, prepare, cook, and clean up afterwards.
As Australia is a big country, there were long bus journeys, unfortunately, I feel the bus could have been more updated. It was tight between the seats, and I am only 5 foot 2. The only place for our legs was straight down, there was no room to put them underneath the seat in front of us, to stretch them out a little, as the seats have low backs. We also had a day bag with us on the bus, and this had to go by our feet as there was no where else to put it, such as over head compartments, or under the seats due to how little space there was. I felt bad for those who were taller. Our large bags were in a trailer attached to the bus, which I thought was a good idea. There were also no curtains or blinds on the windows. I was sat on the left side of the bus, and it got very hot due to the sun being that side. I put my hat and sunglasses on due to how bright it was, though I was then not able to feel the aircon as it was right above my head and if I had my hat on, I couldn't feel the air, so became quite hot.
Due to being on the road for long periods of time, I feel these issues on the bus need to be looked at a bit more.
We stopped for plenty of toilet/snack breaks at road houses/supermarkets.
The accommodation was good for me, I chose the shared hostel accommodation. We didn't spend much time in the rooms. I was first concerned we may be sharing rooms with others outside of the tour although that was not the case. We shared with those on the tour, and the dorms were mixed. I think those with private rooms had a few reservations.
It would have been nice to have been able to spend time at some of the places where we had our accommodation such as when we visited Monkey Mia, or Geraldton. We mainly got everywhere in the evenings, and left early morning. The trip is fast paced, and a full day at one, or both of these would have been great. I know this would add cost, and make the tour longer, but they seemed like lovely places to explore and almost everyone said they would have liked to have stayed at Monkey Mia for atleast a day.
I personally loved the trip and seeing the different areas of Western Australia. It is not an area I heard too much about and I am glad I decided to do the tour.
I would like to once again thank, Geoff for his fantastic work ethic, and showing us some wonderful scenery/wildlife in Western Australia. It was clear that he loves his job. I feel we all had a magical night on the beach while stargazing and seeing baby turtles. A night to remember!
If you go to do this trip, make sure to take a fly net for your head. There are lots of them!

Geoffrey called Geoff was a wonderful driver, cook, guide and entertainer. He could bring a group of different persons together ( between 25 and 73 years old ). It was the first time for us to travel with a group of mostly young people and it was a very positive experience. Thank to Geoff we saw so many amazing landscapes and animals , especially four whale sharks. We will always recommend this trip with Geoff.

I had an amazing week. I never did tour trip before and I don’t regret it at all. I met beautiful people and had so much fun.
Going from Perth to Exmouth and back in a week was challenging but we made it and I’m so grateful for all the memories we created.
Geoffrey took care of everybody. He was really caring, always ready to bring us on new adventures. I was anxious to be in a group and just follow without having my free time but actually every night Geoff was telling us the plan for the day after for us to be able to organize ourselves around activities.
Many restrooms stops on our way for us to buy snacks, or stretch our legs.
My best memories was of course the whales shark day ! It was beautiful, a lot of energy.

we did this tour in march 2024. the places we saw were incredible, WA has so many beautiful and untouched places and during this tour you can see some of them.
the only negative thing was that everything was unfortunately a bit "in a rush". but that's because it's quite a long way from perth to exmouth and back, and 7 days is just a bit short for that. but we were still able to enjoy everything and experienced unforgettable moments.

“AMAZING TOUR”
I had an amazing time on this week tour! Geoff and Danny were great tour guides providing delicious meals each night and good vibes! All my dietary requirements were met as well which was great, i didnt have to worry about that. We saw some beautiful places the photo are insaine we were lucky enough to swim with manta rays, turtles see a hammer head shark, paddle right next to dolphins and even watch baby turtles hatch on the beach it was incredible! I have made so many memories and friends it was a great experience. Its a long bus journey but definitely worth it! Would 100% recommend this tour!
“What an amazing tour!”
Our group had an age span from early 20s up to people in their early 80s. Our tour guide Geoff made sure everyone felt comfortable and safe, no matter what activity we were doing which was very important to me as I was travelling with my parents who are in their 70s. The places we saw were incredible - highlights every day - and Geoff went above and beyond to give everyone the best experience possible - adding extra photo stops, pointing out things to see and never making us feel rushed. It was impressive how he managed to be our driver on those long drives, be our tour guide giving us plenty information along the way and he even prepared delicious food in the evenings, always with a smile on his face. Helping preparing the meals was a great way getting to know our fellow travellers and we really enjoyed the meals together. The tour was very well organised - we were always informed about the itinerary for the day, the next bus stops or things to pack for activities which made travelling very easy for us. I've done a few other bus tours before and I can say this Perth to Exmouth Tour with Geoff was by far the best. I would highly recommend it to everyone who wants to travel along the West Coast of Australia!

My husband John and I just completed this 7 day Exmouth tour with Geoff. We loved the whole experience, seeing the outback, experiencing seeing loggerhead turtles up close making their nests to lay eggs, AND seeing a batch of baby turtles hatch and make it to the ocean! Also got to hike into the parks, see the pinacles, sand dunes, snorkeling and swimming! We got to see Kangaroos, Emu's, dolphins and so much more. Geoff worked so hard, he was our guide, driver, packer, cook, cleaner... all in one, don't know how he did this on his own! In my experience we had a week you just could dream of, and our guide Geoff hade a huge part in that. We was so lucky to se so much wild life and the nature up there is absolutely amazing. Geoff where really organized but could still be spontaneous sometimes when it come to give the group the absolutely best experience possible. For example we hade bad luck once when one activity got cancelled because of weather, but this day turned out to be the best day of the whole week in my opinion. This was an amazing tour. Lots of amazing wildlife and scenery along the way. There was long driving days but worth it for the locations we stopped and stayed in. I would say that the tour was even better and that we experienced more than what is written in the description. Every long car ride was worth it because we saw the most beautiful places and grew together so well as a team thanks to our guide Goeff. Even if there were moments where we couldn't do an activity, Goeff immediately made sure we could go somewhere else and see some great other things. It was a lot of fun to cook together every day and the accommodations were also very nice.

“The wonderful wild west ”
What an incredible trip of the wild wild west!! Laura really set the tone of the trip, was well planned and created a fun environment for all. Highlights were the dolphins at Monkey Mia, swimming with the giant Manta Ray's on the Ningaloo reef and Turtles at Turquoise Bay.
If considering booking this trip just know there's a lot of driving, flies in the summer heat and basic dorm accommodation. Otherwise fantastic all round!

I've had an amazing week on this jam packed tour, thanks to our guide Laura who went above and beyond for us all. The super woman did all the LONG driving, cooking and coordination of our group activities including watching over few people who fell ill. I went as a solo traveller and made new great friends so would highly recommend this trip if you're an anxious solo traveller. The reason I didn't give this 5 star review was because I'll admit was quite expensive for the private room option. I had to share bathroom for 3 nights during the trip and the noisy, dingy hostel accommodations didn't meet my expectations for the amount I paid but overall, the pros outweighed the cons as I had such a blast! Can't wait to come back to WA again in the future! xx

This trip was absolutely incredible! Geoff and Laura were experienced guides who made this trip meaningful and fun. I went with a group of friends who were all studying abroad and this was the perfect way to see the west coast. Everything like food, hostels, transportation, road trip stops, and additional experiences were all planned for. The bus was comfortable and spacious with stops planned about every 2 hours. This trip reminded me of summer camp in the best way possible!

A tour that is definitely recommended. You see a lot in a short time and still have the opportunity to design part of the tour for yourself. In the comfortable coach, even a journey of longer hours is no problem.
My special thanks go to our tour guide Goeff. Within a short time, he managed to form a group of completely different people, in which everyone helped each other. In addition, he was able to answer almost every question directly, otherwise he informed himself directly in order to be able to answer the open questions. If an activity was not possible because of the weather, he organised it for another day or alternative activities.

Such a wonderful way to see WA, you pack so much in to such a short time… there is a lot of driving involved to cover such distances, but our bus was super comfy and the distances fly by when you’re not driving yourself! Accommodation varies from quite basic to more high-class but all is clean, comfy and quiet - all you really need on the road.
Our tour guide Alyssa was so knowledgeable and really went above and beyond to ensure everyone was having a good time - from dietary requirements to extra activities for those of different ages - it was simply amazing. As for the activities and extras - nothing can compare. Would go again in a heartbeat. I met some amazing people, saw the most beautiful sights and made wonderful memories - what else could you want?

There are plenty of stops for toilet breaks and leg stretching. Also good stops for supermarket shopping and snacks. Our bus was comfortable but i could have packed much lighter than i did. You dont need a pillow or sleeping bag with you.
If you are happy sitting in a bus looking out the window for hours, I highly recommend this tour.
You cover alot of ground and it's alot of driving which might not be for people who can't sit for too long.
All the stops were stunning, you really cover the most beautiful parts of the north west coast on this tour.

“Western Australia at its best”
We booked the trip wanting to see the Whale Sharks and by the end had seen and experienced so much more, due in a large part to our guide Geoff. He never stopped the whole 5 days we were with him up to Exmouth, making the trip run smoothly and putting a lot in to it, he always went that extra bit to make sure we had the full experience - stopping to see the Wedge tailed eagles on the side of the road, photos with the beware kangaroos sign, and enjoying to the full sunsets and sunrises. The add-ons were all excellent and we never thought we would see the Whale Sharks up so close. The range and amount of marine life that we saw at Coral Bay and Ningaloo was astounding - turtles, whales, dolphins, Tiger Sharks, coral, fish, Manta Rays and Whale Sharks. Col the abseil instructor was brilliant at his job making everyone feel at ease and making for a very enjoyable adventure.

I've never done a bus tour (well not since school camp) I had no expectations whatsoever.....our tour guide Geoff was amazing, went above an beyond to make sure everyone was comfortable and happy at all times. His knowledge of the areas we travelled to was fantastic and I liked that he shared his story with us. The adventure tour full of adventures was just what I needed. If you want to just chill you can as you don't have to do all the extra tours like absailing, swimming with Manta rays and whale sharks. Totally recommend as I did things I shouldn't have know about and stopped in places I may have driven past if I did it myself

I had a great time! Discovered so many beautiful places along the way up to Exmouth - really worth seeing them all. Our guide Geoff was great and careing, although the days were packed I never felt rushed, there was always a relaxed atmosphere. He even proactively organized prescription goggles for me, thanks again, that was awesome :)
Definitely highly recommend this tour! I also recommend the optional activities - abseiling & at least one of Manta Rays or Whale Shark swimming.
Only suggestion for improvement: Seats in the bus could be a bit more comfortable for the long distances.
“The best Wild West!”
In 7 days from Perth to Exmouth along the coast of Western Australia and back. Our tour guide Geoff did a great job and made this as an unforgettable adventure. Everything was very well organized (from booking to the last step), there were numerous stops, delicious food that were also great for vegans and vegetarians, the hostels were clean and friendly, even the long drives were super entertaining and there was loads of information about the country and people.
Our group mingled with many different nations from young to older ages. Everyone felt very welcome and it was very pleasant for everyone.
Impressive are the white unspoiled sandy beaches, wildlife watching, snorkelling with manta rays at Coral Bay and swimming with whale sharks at Exmouth, watching sea animals in general and staying in the stunning nature. Even the short rain on the first day couldn't hurt us and afterwards there was beautiful, nice weather.
I can definitely recommend this trip to everyone.

“WEST COAST BEST COAST”
The guide was great and smart. The landscape was very beautiful and some of the add on are exceptional (manta and whale sharks). All days sunsets for magical moments. Spotted many great animals (dolphins right at the beach, dingo on the road, kangoroo..and many fishes!). Highly recommended!
Recommendation: food should be a bit more varied and the bus more confortable for all that driving.

Beyond exceeded my expectations!! A must not miss! Our guides Gus and Geoff were brilliant, you fit so much in to the short space of time you have. Highlights were swimming with the whale sharks (a must do), stargazing at Monkey Mia and sunrise at Kalbarri national park. Accommodation and food were perfectly fine, no problems at all. If you are considering this tour it is 100% worth it; great value for money and something I would recommend doing on a bus tour instead of driving yourself, as it is a lot of driving.

This trip was beyond incredible. It felt like moment after moment of feeling intense admiration at the beauty of the sights we were seeing. For instance the sunrise at Kalbarri national park, snorkelling at coral bay, seeing dolphins in Monkey Mia… The list of breathtaking moments just goes on. Our tour guides Gus and Jeff were so amazing. They did an incredible job of looking after us all and were so kind and knowledgable. I feel very lucky they were our tour guides.
Really enjoyed the accommodation- sharing a room was a fun way to make new friends and connect with people on the trip. There’s a LOT of driving but it is so worth it and I found the bus comfy enough to sleep in. So glad I did this trip on a tour and not in my own car as with the tour guides you only have to worry about enjoying yourself. They make sure you’re in the right place at the right time to see the outstanding beauty.
I will forever be grateful for this trip it opened my eyes and my heart and was definitely one of the best weeks of my life.

This is the tour not to be missed. The two tour guides were both knowledgeable, friendly, hard working, flexible and easy to get along with. It was a non stop tour visiting all the places I had on my list, I could not have done this trip by myself the driving of the tour guides was impressive. I enjoyed the variety of food, plenty of vegetables, a few snacks of fruit and bars. The places we visited were awe inspiring and phenomenally beautiful, boat tours, swimming with mantas , snorkelling in the most beautiful locations. Star gazing on the end of the jetty at Monkey Mia was most memorable but to top this was our evening walk under darkness to search for our beautiful turtle laying and burying her eggs all in total silence as we acknowledged her privacy but yet allowing the experience you could only dream of. A very big Thankyou to Gus and Alyssa (apologies if I have spelt this the wrong way) they worked tirelessly to ensure we had a fantastic tour.

Absolutely loved this tour! You get to see so many highlights of the coast in such a short time. We had Gus as our driver and guide, and i reckon he was the best tour guide I've ever had, and really what made the trip so great. He knew something about everything and endless stories to tell. They were so accommodating for my weird dietary requirements, and they kept meals simple but were really good quality and better than i was expecting.
For what you pay, i feel like you really get your moneys worth :)

You'll be at the right place at the right time to see the most amazing spots. They not only take you to these places but also share the background and history of the area, and bring you to places you'll never forget. The team went above and beyond to make sure our trip was even better, like finding us the last spots on the Ningaloo reef Whaleshark tour. This trip was a highlight of my travel. The guide, Jason, was very knowledgeable, friendly and had a great sense of humor. Good driver too, great guide and good cook! This trip offers a perfect way of exploring the west coast, getting to see the most beautiful places. The accomodation ist mostly dormitory style backpackers hostels, nice and clean. The bus is comfortable and reliable. You will get to enjoy the comforts of being driven around while being told interesting facts and stories. It's good value and I'd recommend it to everyone!

This trip takes you to all the best destinations and sights WA has to offer, there are SO many incredible stops along the way its hard to just name a few!
The white sandy beaches and turquoise waters have some of the most beautiful marine wildlife I have seen any where in the world!
We had the opportunity to swim with manta rays, whale sharks, reef sharks, turtles and more! We went on plenty of walks including seeing the Pinnacles and Kalbarri National Park. The accommodation was varied and nice, everyone on the tour was so friendly! There was a range of different nationality's and ages on board and the tour definitely had something for everyone. 10/10!
“West is Best”
I had an absolute blast on this tour! Gus and Jas were incredible guides who kept things fun and informative. It was lovely checking out all these neat places and swimming in the Ningaloo Reef. One thing to note- it is a lot of ground to cover in a short amount of time- around the travel distance from Copenhagen to Istanbul- so you are in the bus a lot of the time, but they do have lots of stops and short excursions around the west coast. It was perfect for what I was looking for- doing some hiking along the beautiful west coast, seeing incredible sunsets, and going to the Ningaloo! This tour attracts a variety of travelers so whether you're a backpacker or a couple on vacay- this tour is accepting of all!
“Incredible, recommended”
This was a seriously interesting way to get from Perth to the whale sharks in Exmouth without having to drive 1300km yourself! Our driver was super organized, but also chill, informative and helpful. It's a budget-friendly trip that's great for backpackers, but because of COVID, we were mostly older folks and we were totally fine with it. Accommodations were basic, like YHA dorms or double rooms for an upgrade.
We hit all the usual tourist stops like sandboarding, the Pinnacles, the Dome and museum at Geraldton, whale spotting, Monkey Mia, etc. But the highlight was the loop walk in Kalbarri national park and staying on a beach side sheep farm. It was well worth paying extra for the optional tours in Coral Bay, like swimming with turtles or manta rays which our guide could book for us.
Swimming with whale sharks (Three Islands tour was great) in Exmouth wasn't included and you should book it in advance (weeks or months). Same for accommodation and car rental if you're not returning to Perth - we flew rather than 2 days in the bus. All the towns we visited, especially Exmouth, were packed with domestic tourists and grey nomads, and a lot was booked out weeks in advance.
The accommodations may have been basic, but the trip itself was 5-star and totally worth it!

Hey there! I’m georgie, and I went on this tour by myself! I met such lovely people and have made such good friends, this trip was such a laugh and everyone had such a good time! The tour guide was called Jason and he was the best!!! He knew everything a person could possibly know! He showed us such amazing places and really made the trip the best expierance! I’m so happy I chose this trip! I would actually go back and do it again! The snorkelling was amazing and i saw so much in the sea! Coral bay was my favourite place to visit! And would be my favourite place in the whole world! Just wanna say a huge thank you to Jason! And if your thinking about doing this trip!! Just go ahead and do it! You’d be missing out if you didn’t!

Had the best 7 days on this tour! The scenery you see and activities you get to do and wildlife you see is impossible to describe in a way that does it all justice. You just have to go and see & experience it yourself!
Abseiling, swimming with manta rays and snorkeling with the whalesharks were even more magical than I thought, definitely worth every dollar and more!
I'd recommend to get the pro photos from the snorkeling tours, there is no way you get better ones yourself with a gopro :P
Accommodation is in mixed share dorms, all hostels were clean and nice. There is an option to upgrade to a private room as well (if available so definitely prebook!)
There was so much food and it was delicious, even as a vegan I was well fed throughout the tour ^^
Your guide/driver Carla is just the best person ever <3 So funny, caring and knowledgeable. I am still in touch with people from the tour, so you can really make good friends as well.

OMG, this was the ultimate adventure holiday! It was so much fun, so interesting and so active, we had a blast! We saw and did so many amazing things, like sleeping under the stars and swimming with manta rays, it was just out of this world! This was hands down the best way to experience one of the most incredible parts of Western Australia, and our guide was the best, he was a tour guide, driver and chef all rolled into one! I can't recommend this tour enough, you gotta go!

My friend and I had an excellent time on this tour. It is a fantastic way to get to see the north coast of WA without having to worry about driving the 100 kilometres yourself. There were some fantastic stops along the way, where you got to see the highlights of what Western Australia has to offer. For the price, you definitely get a bang for your buck.
What made the tour even more special are the fantastic people you get to travel with and in our case one of the best tour guides you can ask for. Linda is an expert in her field with a life time of tour guidance experience in Aus and all over the world. She is knowledgeable and so hospitable, always making sure you are comfortable, having a great time and can answer any obscure question you may have along the journey.
She is honestly a walking encyclopaedia, chef extraordinaire, chauffeur and all around great mate. Linda constantly goes above and beyond to make sure that everyone has a great time, including customers that may be a little hard to deal with. I can not recommend her more!
Just a few side notes:
- This is a hostel trip, they are good hostels but definitely don’t have all the bells and whistles of a hotel.
- There is a lot of driving in this trip so be ready. It would be great to make the trip 8-10 days so there was a chance to stop a few more times a long the way.
- It would be cool to add a few more optional extras like 4 wheel driving on sand dunes or star gazing at the pinnacles (just a thought).
“100% Outback Experience”
I recently went on an 8-day tour and it was everything I hoped for and more. I was traveling solo and was delighted to meet such a friendly guide and fellow travelers. Even though it was a budget tour, we didn't skimp on experiences, the food was delicious and the guide shared a wealth of knowledge at each destination.
We were also lucky enough to have an exclusive visit to a outback sheep station where the owner took us to a private beach to watch the sunset.
The highlight for me was swimming with the Whale Sharks, we went in the water 4 times and saw 4 different sharks, along with humpbacked whales, dolphins, stingrays and octopus.

Carla explained everything very well and gave us a lot of tips. “Best Birthday!”
This was my birthday present to me and I was able to tick so many things off my bucket list. The bus is a bit older, with some seats having seen better times, but it wasn't full, so people could choose where to sit. The tour guide Steve was a knowledgable guy, who was also easy going and fun to talk to. We started in Perth and first stop were Pinnacles. Arrived in Kalbarri in the evening, Hostel was ok. The next day some of us went abseiling in the Kalbarri NP. What an experience. Next night we stayed in Monkey Mia, unfortunately the dolphins didnt come out that day. We stopped other place on our way to Coral Bay. Wraps for lunch or sometimes we stopped at petrol stations where you could buy a gold old aussie pie. Steve was amazing and was able to organise whale shark and Manta Ray Swims for everyone, although it was school holidays and many people around. I would still suggest to book ahead and not be disappointed. 2 nights in exmouth was great. Good accommodation. Good food. And on our way to Perth back, we stayed on farm in Northampton, which was amazing.

Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable about the local attractions and made sure we got the most out of our experience. Nearly all meals were included and were delicious, and our guide even cooked them himself, and he was able to accommodate all of the different dietary needs of the group. If you're not a fan of dorms, you can also pay a little extra for a private room. It was a fantastic trip overall.

“Wonderful Time”
Just finished an awesome week in WA. Our tour manger Carla was bloody amazing, the accommodations were all clean and comfortable. Monkey Mia was my favourite plus waking up to dolphins in the bay was perfect.
One thing I would advise is to ask your agent directly to book your excursions in advance as I was unable to book onto a dive with the whale sharks due to no availability.
“West is Best!”
This 7 day trip is amazing! It’s a modular trip, so we started with 24 people (a full bus load) and after 4 days, a few people left, then a few more left on the 5 day mark. However, I wanted to go all the way to Exmouth so I did the full 7 days and I wouldn’t have traded it for anything! The west coast of Australia is something else! Deserts, gorgeous beaches, awesome snorkelling, so much wildlife in their natural habitat and the perfect weather every single day! Our tour manager Carla made it even that much more fun with her cooky Kiwi ways and by giving us lots of historical information in regards to each place we stopped. The included activities were great - sand boarding in Lancelin, snorkelling the Ningaloo reef, hiking to Nature’s Window, hanging out with dolphins in Coral Bay, etc. Everything was awesome and I’d recommend this trip to anyone who wants to explore WA without having to worry about driving it themselves.
