Who are Lost in Australia, and are the reviews real?
We are an Australian travel agent, not a tour operator. We sell trips run by established operators, and the price you pay here is the same as booking the operator directly. The reviews on our trip pages are reviews of those trips, gathered from Tripadvisor, Google and TourRadar — not reviews of us.

If you have landed here from a search for reviews, you are probably checking we are real before you put a card in. Fair enough. Here is the straight version.
What we actually are
- An agent, not an operator. We do not drive the buses. We sell trips run by established Australian tour companies, and we have been doing it for years.
- The price is the same. You pay what you would pay the operator. We are paid a commission by them, not a markup by you.
- What you get for using us: one place to compare trips that are otherwise scattered across a dozen operator sites, and someone to call when a flight moves.
- You are booking a real trip with a real operator — the operator is named on your confirmation, and you travel with them.
Where the reviews come from
- There are 31,123 published reviews across 312 trips on this site.
- They are gathered from Tripadvisor, Google and TourRadar, plus travel blogs and Lonely Planet, and each one is attached to the trip it is actually about.
- They are reviews of the trips, not of us. That is the useful thing to know before you book — whether the trip is any good matters more than whether the agent is.
- We do not write them. They are other travellers' words, paraphrased for length and attributed to their source.
How booking works
- Pay a deposit or in full. Most trips take a deposit, with the balance due before you travel.
- You get a confirmation naming the operator, the departure and the meeting point.
- Change of plan? Tell us and we will deal with the operator for you — that is most of what we do.
- Questions before you book? Ask us. We would rather put you on the right trip than any trip.
