I was a little concerned when first booking this tour because it's a relatively small company. But the tour was every bit as good as the big outfits. Nice hotels, excellent guide and they smoothly handled a weather caused diversion. I would definitely book with them again.

We did a 7-day trip on the east coast from Brisbane to Cairns. It was a great trip with a great guide (Eoin), who was very knowledgeable, enthusiastic and fun. The trip was well organized and well-curated.

Justin our tour guide constantly surprised us with each day surpassing the previous.
He took us to amazing places we would never of dreamed of going to that were not listed on the itinerary (including the most amazing fig tree).
I’m so glad we had cameras to remember all the amazing places he took us to during our week
Justin did all this while driving us around, making sure we all got on, were safe and entertaining us as well.
I really hope we get back to Australia and if we do we definitely will book with Via travel - if their other guides are half as good as Justin, we’ll have another amazing trip.

This was one of the best experiences of my life. The people I was with and the places we went were all amazing. The guide Justin Clarke was fantastic. He was a great guide, bus driver and friend. He really connected to everyone and encouraged everyone to interact with each other. When unexpected events occurred, he dealt with them with ease. This tour was absolutely worth it.

This was an excellent tour, not only in content, but made special by our driver, tour guide, and organiser Jason. His detailed knowledge of the tour attractions, his guidance of our activities and direction could not be faulted and made the tour very special. “Can't recommend highly enough”
. Guides were enthusiastic, knowledgable and went above and beyond to ensure the group enjoyed the trip and always had extras to suggest for those that wanted a little more. Accommodation was always clean and well situated. The itineraries are much better designed than what all the other big companies offer. Much more thought out, always including an indigenous experience or two, some down time (so important and usually overlooked on multiple day tours. It is a holiday after all!) and always covering the highlights. Looking forward to my next trip!

“Some great memories”
The destinations on the east coast were all fantastic: Sydney, Byron Bay, the Whitsundays, and of course, the Great Barrier Reef! What I liked best, however, was that the whole tour had such a local feel. Our guide, for example, was knowledgeable about the regional specialties, flora, and fauna, and also greeted and farewelled everyone with handshakes and hugs - haha Stu!!!
I really took home some great memories and, thanks to the small group, made some fantastic friends for life.
