How it works:
Our incredible east coast packages are made up of a combination of various tours, accommodation and bus routes. You'll be travelling independently between each town using our amazing greyhound bus network that we'll book and organise for you.
We plan out your entire trip to help you save money and time and take away the fuss of making sure everything fits together seamlessly.
We'll be staying in some of Australia's best hostels and exploring iconic destinations such as Fraser Island, Whitsunday Islands and the Great Barrier Reef with amazing guides and other likeminded travellers. No time is wasted and every dollar goes towards maximising your experience!
Day 1: Sydney to Byron
Begin your journey in the vibrant city of Sydney, where you'll have the opportunity to explore and prepare for your adventure up the East Coast.
Later in the day at 7pm, board the overnight Greyhound bus that will take you to your next destination: Byron Bay.

Day 2: Byron Bay
Arrive in Byron Bay bright and early at 8am and check into your centrally located accommodation, where you'll be staying for the next two nights. Take your time to settle in and get ready to discover the beauty of this coastal town.

Day 3: Byron Bay/Kayak With Dolphins
Wake up in the stunning surroundings of Byron Bay. Today's itinerary includes a thrilling 3.5-hour dolphin kayak tour. Make your way to the designated meeting point on Lawson Street, where your experienced guide and fellow group members will be waiting for you. Embark on an amazing paddle around Cape Byron Lighthouse, spotting wild dolphins, rays, turtles, and more. After the tour, you can choose to return to your accommodation or spend a relaxing afternoon at the beach.

Day 4: Travel to Noosa
Start your day by checking out of your Byron Bay accommodation as you bid farewell to the town. Catch a bus at 8:30am and travel north to Noosa. Arriving at 2pm check in to your hostel and drop off your bags. Take some time to explore this beautiful beachside town, known for its surfing and breathtaking national parks. In the evening, attend a mandatory 6 PM safety briefing at your hostel in preparation for your upcoming Fraser Island tour.

Day 5-7: 3 Day Fraser Island Tour
Day 1
The tour begins early in the morning from Nomads Hostel in Noosa. Transfers will be provided for your group to Rainbow Beach, where you'll pick up your 4WD vehicle. Board the ferry at Inskip Point and head to Fraser Island. Drive along the famous 75-mile beach, visit Lake Wabby and/or Lake Birrabeen, and enjoy lunch with your group. Explore the rainforest at Wanggoolba Creek and Central Station before driving through the rainforest back to the campsite. Witness a beautiful sunset and share dinner with your group. Spend the night camping on the beach.
Day 2
Enjoy a basic breakfast before setting off to explore Fraser Island's highlights. Swim in the fresh waters of Eli Creek, visit the world-famous Maheno Shipwreck, have lunch on the go, and make a quick stop at the "Pinnacles" colored sands. Cruise over to Indian Head Lookout and Champagne Pools for more breathtaking views. Return to the campsite for your final night and enjoy dinner with your group.
Day 3
Have your last breakfast on the island before heading to Lake McKenzie. Relax and enjoy the pristine white silica sand before having lunch. Make your way to the ferry for the return journey to the mainland, departing at approximately 2:30 PM. Drop off the 4WD vehicles at Rainbow Beach and transfer back to Noosa, arriving around 5 PM.

Day 8: Noosa Everglades
Start your day with a visit to the stunning Noosa Everglades, one of the two in the world. Experience the serene natural beauty as you canoe through this remarkable place, home to rare animal and plant species. Don't forget to visit the local brewery and sample some of their beers, which are made using water from the underground reservoirs of the everglades.

Day 9: Travel to Agnes Water
Take the bus to Agnes Water/Town Of 1770. On arrival, you will settle into your hostel and make some new friends in anticipation for the relaxing days to come in this quaint little surf town.

Day 10: Surf Lesson
Begin your day by joining a surf lesson at one of Agnes Water's fantastic beginner-friendly beaches. After the lesson, take some time to explore the headland or venture down to Deep Water National Park. Treat yourself to a delicious meal at the Mango Tree Hotel in the charming Town of 1770.

Day 11: Travel to Airlie Beach
Water Enjoy a relaxing day along the beach, with the option of another surf lesson if you're up for it.
In the evening at 8pm, board the overnight bus that will take you to Airlie Beach.
Day 12: Airlie Beach
Arrive in Airlie Beach at 6am and check into your amazing hostel. Take some time to visit the beautiful Airlie Beach lagoon and start preparing for your upcoming Whitsundays trip.
Day 13-15: 3 Days Whitsundays Sailing Tour
Day 1
Embark on a sailing adventure to one of the Whitsundays' most picturesque islands. Dive into the crystal-clear waters and discover the wonders of snorkeling and scuba diving. As you sail to your first sleeping location in the protected waters of Whitsunday Island, unwind on the deck with a refreshing beer or wine and savor a freshly cooked dinner sourced locally.
Day 2
Rise and shine to a freshly cooked breakfast. Today's activities will depend on the weather and tides. You can look forward to two additional snorkeling sessions at different beautiful locations around the islands, or opt for a quick 10-minute bush walk to Hill Inlet lookout. Capture the breathtaking view and take a leisurely stroll to the world-famous Whitehaven Beach. Indulge in a fully catered lunch and dinner during the day.
Day 3
Beach Wake up early once again to enjoy breakfast and make the most of your final day in the Whitsundays. Spend more time exploring the beaches and snorkeling spots before heading back to Airlie Beach in the late afternoon. You'll have another night's stay at Nomads and can look forward to an epic after-party with your newfound friends.

Day 16: Travel to Cairns
This morning at 10am, board the Greyhound bus to Cairns, a tropical city in northern Queensland. Arrive at 10pm and check into your centrally located hostel. Spend the rest of the day and evening immersing yourself in the local culture and vibrant nightlife. Make sure to get a good night's sleep for your upcoming Great Barrier Reef trip.

Day 17: Full Day Great Barrier Reef Tour
Today, embark on a unique reef experience catered to small groups, including both experienced and first-time snorkelers and divers. The tour will have a relaxed and tropical vibe, allowing you to fully experience the wonders of the Great Barrier Reef and a sand cay. Departure will be later in the day, and you'll return to Cairns at sunset. This day tour is all about having fun and enjoying the mind-blowing reefs.
