Our 3 Day Melbourne to Adelaide Tour is an exceptional showcase of the must-see highlights of Victoria's best destinations, taking in the Great Ocean Road and the Grampians. Overnight stays let you extend your time at each highlight and get the most from the experience. Your first night is in Warrnambool at the end of the Great Ocean Road; the second is deep within the Grampians National Park at Halls Gap, surrounded by bushland and stunning mountain landscapes.
Day 1: Melbourne to Warrnambool
Depart cosmopolitan Melbourne and start your adventure along the world-famous Great Ocean Road, with its stunning ocean views and surf beaches. Spot wild koalas and take a guided rainforest walk, before visiting the limestone stacks of the Twelve Apostles and other wonders of the Shipwreck Coast. Overnight in Warrnambool.

Day 2: Warrnambool to Halls Gap
On the second day, visit the Tower Hill Conservation Reserve, an extinct volcano rich in Aboriginal history and abundant wildlife. Later, hike up to the iconic Pinnacle Lookout for an amazing view over the Grampians. Finish the day with a traditional Aussie BBQ and an overnight stay in Halls Gap.

Day 3: Halls Gap to Adelaide
On the final day, hike to the base of Mackenzie Falls, then take in famed sights such as Boroka Lookout and The Balconies. After an incredible few days exploring the coastline and mountain ranges, we cross the western plains of Victoria into South Australia, arriving in Adelaide around 7:30pm.

My family of 5 had the most amazing time on an Autopia 3 day Uluru-Ayer's Rock camping tour. Highlight was the Kata Tjuta hike, Kings Canyon private campsite and sunset at a Uluru lookout. Made memorable by our amazing guides Taylor and Maya. Both warm and welcoming as well as keen to share their knowledge and love of the culture and natural wonders of the land. Also amazingly hard working getting us to locations safely, making sure we were well fed and well informed of next steps. Thank you Taylor and Maya for an amazing camping experience for non-camping city dwellers! Your encouragement and enthusiasm has converted us... at least for more hiking!

Absolutely incredible experience visiting the Twelve Apostles. The entire day felt like something out of a movie — dramatic coastline, massive cliffs, and views that honestly don’t look real in person. Every stop along the route was beautiful, but seeing the Apostles at sunset was unforgettable.

omas (Tomcat - T.C) is very informative guide. He knows well about the places we went. Young jovial person. Autopia Tours is the best. Never regret to join this tour and I will not hesitate to recommend Autopia to friends or families if they will come to Melbourne.
We took an Autopia trip on the Great Ocean Road, travelling from Melbourne through to Adelaide, and it was hard to put into words how magnificent the sights were. Driver Jordan handled the long distance with real skill, staying friendly and relaxed while giving us great information on everywhere we passed. We'd definitely book with Autopia again.
This Great Ocean Road and Grampians trip was terrific — highly recommend it. Guide Graham went out of his way for photo stops, joined in on silly yoga poses, and shared the road's history. Day two brought a challenging but worthwhile hike up to the Grampians' Pinnacles, and day three was a steep walk to MacKenzie Falls. Both Graham and Ben are excellent guides.
We did the 3 day Great Ocean Road trip and enjoyed every bit of it. Graham was a fantastic guide, entertaining us with stories and acrobatic poses. I signed up for Autopia's 3 day trip covering the Great Ocean Road and the Grampians, and it was truly unforgettable. Our group of 11, from Europe, America and Asia, hit it off thanks to our warm, welcoming guide Ben, who pointed out wild kangaroos and koalas and shared great stories about Melbourne's history. The scenery from the coastline to the Grampians was seriously impressive, and thanks also to Kiwi for driving us home. Wholeheartedly recommend.
Did the 3 day 2 night Melbourne to Adelaide Great Ocean Road tour in September, taking in the 12 Apostles, London Bridge, koalas at Tower Hill, and a walk to the pinnacle in the Grampians. Guide Ben was great fun. Plenty to see with some downtime to nap on the bus - pack good shoes and a rain jacket since showers come and go quickly.

It was a really good trip, I would even say the best of my life. Also wenn we have been there in the winter time, it was such a cool experience. We had the guard's nickname Kiwi. He was very calm and gentle, took care of everybody and told us great stories about the man who survived and must climb the 12 Apostels up to survive. I'm really happy we had him as our guide. Everybody was very friendly too, I will defenetly come here again when I'm grown up with my friends or kids in the future. I would defenetly recommend it!

I was with a group of tourists in a small bus. We visited a reserve and saw koalas and kangaroos. We also went to a reserve where the view was extraordinary and we went to see the penguins. At nightfall, it was cold on the edge of the ocean, you have to have warm clothes. The food is good at the interpretation center.

We had a great time on our tour. Our driver/guide Cory was great. Very knowledgeable, with a good sense of humor. Recommended some good places to eat when we took a break late afternoon for food. Also told a lot of good stories about the history of Philipps island.
The tour first stopped at the Koala sanctuary, which is quite nice, we saw a number of koalas and some wallabies. Then we had a food break and went on to the nobbies. There we saw a few penguins in their nests and on the drive over to the penguin parade quite a few wallabies.
The penguin parade is amazing. We had good seats in the general viewing area (in the cooler months good idea to bring something to sit on as it gets cold) and saw quite some penguins. Also on our way back to the building.
Highly recommend this trip. We booked through wildlife tours, but the tour was operated by Autopia. What we also liked was that it was a small tour and bus, with around 19 people in our group.
We went in the winter, which also meant much less people, though it gets cold once the sun sets. And we were lucky with the weather as it was mostly dry and only rained when we were actually in the bus.

Ethan had great tips on where to sit in stands. Perfect weather and awesome stars. Ethan was able to find wallabies and joeys along with koalas. Overall a great, fun tour with a great guide. The only hiccup was a booking mix-up that meant the guide had to make several phone calls on the morning of departure so we could join at all, which caused some unnecessary stress, but the tour itself was a lot of fun.

Mc Kenzie falls was so beautiful- got a lot of time to spend there. There wasn’t much of a hike - only the climb down and back up at the Mc Kenzie falls about 250 steps each way.

“An Animal-Lover’s Delight”
Fiona took us on an animal-sightseeing adventure I’ll never soon forget. Che is truly sunshine in human form and a wealth of knowledge.
The koala habitat was absolutely surprising. We were less than a meter away, witnessing the cuddly, little koalas nuzzle down in their naps, snack on eucalyptus and even climb about looking for their new perch.
As we drive across the islands to dinner and the parade, Fiona’s sharp eyes helped us located Wallabies all emerging for dinner, as the bounded across the grasslands.
Fiona’s true knowledge showed at the parade of penguins though, where she led us away from the crowds and into witnessing the waddling colony in their more intimate environments. It’s was like Fiona just knew where their dens were and we were able to see their wobbles and stretches in blue, before the changing of the guards.

Phillip Island completely blew me away! The koalas, coastline, and penguins were incredible to see and are far better than any picture can do them justice.

The small group tour is the way to go. Doing it in reverse worked really well because we avoided the large tour buses going the opposite direction.
Our guide Joe is terrific.
Driving is smooth, no sudden stops or dangerous maneuvers.
Joe provided background info regarding the stops and area we drove through.
He gave us sufficient time at each stop to enjoy them.
He didn’t engage in small talk and no dad jokes which allowed us to listed to music while admiring the scenery.

Got off to a great start as I was first pickup of the day bang on time. After everyone was loaded up we were given the basic itinerary for the day and told how long different sections of the trip would be. We had plenty of time in different locations through the day and Craig the driver/guide (and Barry the platypus) were knowledgeable and engaging all day. We saw two koala at one of our stops and plenty of bird life as well. I was only in Melbourne 3.5 days but glad I spent one of them doing this tour as the scenery was magnificent

The penguin parade was the highlight of the day and we were able to see the blue penguins in their burrows and see the returning penguins coming out of the sea and then waddling up the pathway . Such fun and the sounds of the penguins calling to each other to guide them back together was amazing.

My husband and I joined the 3 day Great Ocean Road tour from Melbourne to Adelaide with the brilliant guide Janet, known as J-Dog. We had an amazing time and even set a record spotting 34 koalas in one day. When the bus had an issue, J-Dog kept everyone calm and cheerful until we were back on the road. Her stories, songs and upbeat energy made the trip special - ask for J-Dog if you can.

Great trip with Craig & Barry! The stops were well timed so that you don’t end up waiting around, and yet you have more than enough time to see everything. Did the reverse tour, starting at 12 Apostoles and avoiding the crowds there. Amazing views. Didn’t see any koalas, which was a bummer, but hey, you always take that risk when you want to see them in the wild. Barry was fantastic the entire time, very funny, friendly and helpful. Nice light lunch at the forest. All in all, I had a fantastic day and highly recommend this tour!

“Long day but worth it”
The trio was good but the first coffee stop and the lunch stop were too short. By the time the food was there, you had almost no time to eat. It is a long day so I understand that it’s difficult to make the stops longer in order to do all the stops. Maybe they could advise to take a packed lunch or morning tea.
The guide was really friendly and helpful.
The bus was very uncomfortable and not made for people with longer legs.

Joe is the best - good disposition, tons of knowledge downloaded to us over a few hours with just right humor, and he even charged up my iPhone between stops to make sure I had enough juice to record this fabulous day!

The scenic view was breath-taking that I had not known Grampians before, but now I would definitely recommend you to join. The natural beauty was attractive as well as getting to see wildlife like wollaby, kangaroo, and also quite a number of emu.
Thanks to our lovely and passionate guide Kiwi who made the experiences even more unforgettable. He shared lots of facts and experiences how to get the best views. He did not hurry us as he understood it was great to enjoy the time with nature.

A beautiful tour, the penguins are very cute and you can clearly see them coming out of the sea and continuing their way to their homes. During the tour we were able to see a lot of wildlife, Fiona is the best guide you can ask for, always attentive to possible sightings so you can have the best experience and with very good tips.

Fiona is a great tour guide, she explained the trips meticulously. The trip was awesome and so much fun to watch the penguins slowly came up to the shore together in a cohort. The koalas are so cute and interesting to know they slept almost 20 hours per day.

We traveled with 2 young kids and the tour was great for us to see Yarra and Lake Mountain. We stopped by Healsville Bakery briefly before heading to Lake Mountain- it was good stop as the bus journey could be long for the children. The sun was out that day so there was not much real snow on Lake Mountain but we nonetheless had fun at the Toboggan slope. On our way back we stopped at the Waterfall and the Yarra Chocolaterie. We loved the views outside the shop it was pretty amazing. Lastly a shout out to our tour guide Graham who was kind and soft spoken.

I loved this tour with our knowledgeable and kind tour guide, Fiona. It was a fantastic way to explore the natural paradise of Phillip Island. Seeing the koalas in the Conservation Centre up so close was a real highlight. I also really enjoyed the penguin parade with the adorable little blue penguins at night. Fiona gave us a really interesting insight into the nature and conservation projects going on at each site we visited in Phillip Island. She also gave us a good amount of time at each stop to explore and take photos. The tour is perfect for nature and wildlife lovers. A fantastic day trip from Melbourne. Highly recommended!

The itinerary was well-planned and we had enough time at each of the places. We got to see the sleeping koalas up close, and also the penguins. Our guide Fiona was lovely and gave us lots of fun facts about Melbourne, she was also very enthusiastic showing us the baby koala Joey and even stopped on the road to let us take pictures of an Echidna. Couldn’t have asked for a better guide! Overall an amazing trip, would recommend to everyone visiting Melbourne.

We had a wonderful day with our tour guide and driver of the minibus, Joe. He was knowledgeable and shared a lot of fun facts and caution tips too.
It was a long day but the timely stops made it comfortable. Stops were around 25 minutes. A sandwich lunch was provided too. Ample restroom stops. Fruitful in terms of sighting of the Koala and Kangaroos. Joe's friendly demeanor made the day really fun filled and enjoyable. Thankyou Joe.

James the guide was fantastic! We were a small fit group so it did not take us so long to take picures at the view points or hike so he asked if we wanted to use the extra time to visit another waterfall. Also he spotted some Emu in a field and stopped so that we could get out and take photos. He also gave us a quiz on the wildlife which was fun and serenaded us on the way back.

The tour was amazing, We had visited lots of places Viewings and towns and the food was nice at the pit stop American dinner in Apollo Bay. We also tried the local pies, it was so nice. Fronting the park and beach. The town so nice and beautiful. We had a view and took photos. The Loch Ard George the view was amazing and breathtaking with the sun set view.

We were blessed with a wonderful weather, great group who's always on time, Fiona our guide, who was very helpful and full of energy . All in all, it was a lovely experience!
“Great ocean road reverse tour”
We did the reverse tour. I would suggest that the reverse tour should only be done in summer because the drive along the ocean road was mostly in the dark, so not seen, which was a pity.
Our guide was Kiwi Chris and his knowledge of the area and its history is incredible. His commentary was informative and witty throughout the tour.
We did the tour on my birthday and Kiwi Chris shouted us morning tea, which was a very nice bonus.
We chose to do the optional helicopter tour of the 12 Apostles and it was well worthwhile and the best part of the day.
Only one little negative: sandwiches and fruit for lunch were not accompanied by anything to drink and there was no water or liquid of any kind available to have with the sandwich.

“Stunning Day Trip w/our wonderful Guide!”
I booked my trip last minute and can say, I'm so glad I did. I called in advance and asked if there were any spots available. I lucked out and was informed one spot was available. The day trip took us first into the Koala conservation, and was delighted to see koalas, walabee, and exotic birds so close (the key is to be as still and quite). The penguin parade was absolutely spectacular. Not only did I get to see this creatures up close, but our evening matched up with great weather. Shout out to Fiona who was our knowledgeable guide for the day! Friendly and patient with the group.

We had a nice trip to Phillip Island to see the Koalas and Little Penguins. Our tour guide, Fiona, was one of the best parts of the day. She did a great job of managing expectations, sharing all the insider tips, and making sure each person had the best possible experience. I learned so much about Aussie eco topics, and appreciated Fiona’s obvious passion for conservation. The penguins were the most precious little things, and we stayed late to see and hear the colony settling into their burrows for the night. 10/10 will do it again if I ever come back to Australia.

We took the Phillip Island tour which included a visit to the Koala Conservation Park and the Penguin Parade. It was a two hour drive with great live commentary from Fiona (who was also our driver + guide). She provided us some great tips to see the penguins up close which made our experience even more extraordinary.

“Great time in the Great Ocean Road”
Our guide & driver, Chris P (Kiwi) was amazing and such a knowledgeable person! He told us so much about the history of Melbourne, the history of the Shipwreck Coast and the local fauna of Victoria. He even brought us to find koala bears nesting in the trees above the road.
He kept the whole group running like a tightly run ship and we managed to stay ahead of the crowds and he even squeezed in some extra attractions. Excellent guide overall.

A good way to see a lot of the coastline in one day, and to get out of the city if you’ve been in it for a couple of days. Our guide James was super patient with us all and had some good tunes playing. Got to see a koala in the wild which was a nice perk. Highly recommend.

Overall the trip is quite good. My kid had fun at Lake Mountain. Joe, our driver has been a knowledgeable and helpful guy. He shared about history of the interest places, and very patiently waiting for everyone on board each time.l before we depart to another destination.

It was amazing, just hope we had more time during lunch break to explore Philip Island (which could mean earlier departure). Fiona was amazing, she gave us tips on where to sit to watch the penguins and where's the wind direction.
We get to see hundreds of penguin, don't sit by the beach for long. Walk around and you can see them walking. We saw Koalas too although they were sleeping. Please wear comfortable warm clothing if you go during winter and waterproof jackets/raincoats - in case it rains.
For Muslims, there's halal kebab option if your tour stop at Cowes town. We arrived at Melbourne CBD at about 830pm.
Please dont take photos after sunset guys and follow the rules, it's for the penguin's safety else you mjght hurt their eyes.

Amazing! Fiona's an exhuberant nature lover tour guide and the wildlife was incredible. As a family, we spotted 438 penguins (including two who were in love), two spotty bandicoots, 4 possums, a strolling koala, a handful of curlews and tonnes of wallabies and Cape Barron geese. Highly recommend!

“Magical Penguin Viewing Experience”
This day trip was even better than I had hoped. Our guide, Craig (and stuffed platypus Barry, who made it really easy to identify the correct bus) was amazing. Craig was very responsive to the group, unfailingly pleasant and shared just the right amount of information about what we were going to see. I appreciated that we had time to wander on our own at each location. It was amazing seeing koalas up close at the Koala Reserve and Craig made sure we knew to look out for wallabies as well. The Nobbies was a beautiful spot and we spotted several young penguins in their burrows as well as enjoying the stunning views from the boardwalk. The highlight, of course, was the Penguin Parade, and the experience was even better than anticipated. Watching the penguins come out of the ocean was truly magical and observing them even closer from the boardwalks as they made their way up the “penguin highway” or lingered outside their burrows was incredible. I found the bus seats a little uncomfortable but this did not diminish the fantastic trip that this was.

Packed day but truely worth it. Was considering hiring a car and doing the Great Ocean Road day trip but this was way better. Saw all the sights without the stress. Most tour drivers have a spiel but you could tell Aidan was speaking from the heart. Ask for him!

The 3 day trip was an absolute blast from start to finish! Literally did not stop laughing. We saw so much amazing stuff and really enjoyed the hikes and different sights. Jordan was such a great guide, he's super knowledgeable and fun and has the best music taste (have been listening to lots of Hamish Imlach since the tour). He took us to loads of cool places and even gave us plenty of recommendations for Melbourne which we've been ticking off!
The bus vibe was super comfy and nice, and we got to meet a great gang of folk through the tour who we've kept in touch with heaps.

“Spa daze”
Great way to see the peninsula hot springs if you don’t want to hire a car. Easy pick up in Collins street and small group. Kiwi Chris gave a great informative commentary on Melbourne and surrounds which was really interesting. Price of ticket covers bathing at the springs as well. You pay separately for towel , locker and robe. Worth getting . It was Easter so busy on the day we went but still managed to find some spots not too busy over the 25 acres.. very clean and beautiful surroundings. We had about 3 and a bit hours of time at the springs and headed back at 1.15. Arrived at 10am so plenty of time to see the surroundings. Great tour and highly recommend .

Chris P (AKA Kiwi!) was a great tour guide. He was super knowledgeable about everything and eager to share as much as he could. The bus was clean and comfortable. We didn’t have great weather which was such a shame as I think the views would’ve been even better but it was great to see so much of “real” Australia. An early start and a long day but the sandwiches for lunch were really lovely and there were plenty of comfort breaks.

“Fab day at the hot springs”
As someone who doesn't really enjoy the spa, I was a bit optimistic about visiting the hot springs.
The day however was very enjoyable! Our guide Chris (Kiwi) talked about some of the history of Victoria and the hot springs which was very interesting.
The hot springs were very relaxing and there's lots of pools to enjoy!
“Unforgettable… not to be Missed”
If I could give this tour ten stars I would, this trip is not to be missed! We went in a cushy bus from Adelaide to Melbourne. We were able to spread out a bit because there were 7 of us! We were able to see and do so many things on this journey.. from hiking in the Grampians, walking to see waterfalls, wandering in a temperate rainforest and also catching all the bucket list places like the twelve apostles, as well as sights we never knew existed. Our tour guide Janet, aka J-Dawg, was the absolute best, I really don’t think the trip would have been the same without her. She really has a passion for showing people her country and the unique ability to be inclusive and respectful while rallying her group to find connections with each other. She was also very conscious of making potty stops for my small bladder, something you really don’t get on the huge bus tours. And here is the best part, let’s say you don’t like hiking, Janet will find out what you do enjoy, and personalize the trip for you as best she can! I was so impressed!
Now the accommodations are not five star, more like motel six, but I really didn’t care. We are staying in small towns that really don’t cater to big tourism and just don’t have big hotels. I will sum this review up by saying that this tour was unforgettable and I will definitely recommend and remember it for years to come!
“Best 3-day experience from Adelaide to Melbourne”
Had a superb and amazing trip! We were on the 3 days tour from Adelaide to Melbourne and were guided by the one and only J-dawg. She was an excellent guide who made the entire trip special and comfortable. We saw so many cool things from the Grampians to the Great Ocean Road and the Melba Gully forest, all of which were done an impeccable timings with very few crowds. Our highlight was the hike along the Pinnacle Walk and the Grampians. J-dawg gave us ample time to soak and take in the beautiful sceneries, which really allowed us to connect with nature. Highly recommended!!

Had an absolutely amazing time on this 3 day trip from Adelaide to Melbourne. J-Dog was an fantastic tour guide, engaging and enthusiastic about everything and with a wealth of knowledge and love for her country. Favourite part was definitely the hike up to the peak above Hall's Gap. Blown away by the scenery - we got up early and so were the only ones up there, which was just magical! Thanks J-Dog for letting us take out time and just enjoy it. We seemed to pack in so much and yet still have time to soak in the magic. Great bbq on the first night, loved the silo art on the first day, beautiful rainforest walk with the tree ferns, and of course the tour along Great Ocean Road going from Adelaide direction meant we missed the crowds and got to stop at some.of the less commonly visited sites. Absolutely brilliant road trip in a small and friendly group - exceeded expectations by miles. 100% recommend!

“Wonderful beaches, nature and cascades”
This trip is awesome thanks to the nice views and lookouts. There are numberous stops so you never feel bored during the bus drive. Toppers are the hinings in Grampians Natural Park and McKenzie Falls.
Our guide was top, she has a great knowledge of Australia and makes the trip funny and worth.
The night in YHA hostel is top also, right in the nature.

One of my favourite Trips ever!!! We had the most amazing guide in Misty - she was fun, incredibly knowledgable about our destinations, wildlife and Native Australian people and history. Above all though she created beautiful group dynamics and made us become one big family sharing an awesome time. The Great Ocean Road itself is breathtaking, there is a lot of diversity in the things we got to see and do - I really loved the Grampians as well. The meals that were provided were very good (2× breakfast, 1xdinner) and Accomodation was better than what I expected. All in all I would do ut again in a heartbeat.

She showed as soooo many awesome places and was just in general a cool and chill person. The first day was only Great Ocean Road. We were so lucky with the weather during the whole trip. We had some breathtaking views and the whole group got along very well. We had dinner together that night and stayed in a really cozy motel. The second day was a short drive to the Grampians were we all managed to hike up a mountain together and enjoyed the views on top as a group. That night we had bbq together and watched the sunset with the kangaroos. I will never forget this trip and Misty made it so special. Thanks for all the laughs and shenanigans. Do not hesitate and book this tour!!

“Extraordinary day!”
We enjoyed everything about our day as was provided by the tour company and our driver, Ilkay! As others have mentioned, the only thing that detracted from the special, extraordinary experience, was other people not following rules, standing in front of others, pushing for seating, and taking photos of the penguins when repeatedly scolded. Sad that we are there to help the endangered wildlife and some people are more concerned with their instagram. Otherwise- certainly worth the extra $$ for the penguin Plus seats; others in our tour said they couldn’t see nearly as much in general seating. Highly recommend this tour from Melbourne!

Our tour guide Craig was awesome - he took us safely to all spots of the itinerary and some more and his knowledge about the region and history was unbelievable. The group was lovely (age around mid 20s to late 50s) and everyone got along well. Great Tour for solo travellers!
There was always a choice between an easier or more challenging walk. The accommodation (shared/basic) was clean and totally fine for the tour.
Unfortunately, we couldn't do the programme for the last day (walk to Pinnacle Lookout) due to bushfires but a safe alternative was organised.

Excellent Tours, Phillips Island Penguin Parade, and koala sightings were amazing! The only downside was ignorant tourists flashing their photos at the penguins after being repeatedly told no photos because it scares and blinds the small birds at night.

We booked on the eco wildlife trip but this was changed to normal Great Ocean Rd trip. Bit disappointed that we didn't see any marsupials. Driver who was our guide worked hard to keep us in track and told us lots of interesting facts and tips about the places we visited. The rainforest walk was magical and 12 Apostles well worth the trip. Could have done without final stop at fast food outlets as this added to return journey. Otherwise a great day

“3 day Great Ocean River Road only way to go!!”
We were originally scheduled for a 2 day tour which got cancelled so then did the 3 day and Im SO we did. Our guide, janet, was GREAT-knowledgeable, fun and very accomodating first two older ladies. This tour is much more strenuous than i anticipated but she always provided an alternative. We had enough time at a myriad of sites to enjoy it, the barbeque she provided was generous and tasty and wildlife sitings were frequent. Only downside was the 24 passenger van which was most uncomfortable -seats didnt recline, were VERY firm and provided little leg room. Im only 5’6” and cant imagine what a tall person did. And unless you like bunk beds, upgrade to a motel with comfortable beds and your own bath but otherwise, it was just GREAT!!

My husband and I traveled from Melbourne to Adelaide with Autopia’s 3 day tour. I can’t say enough about our guide, Janet (J-Dog). She was kind, caring, informative, interesting, funny, and a wonderful driver. The sites were amazing, the hikes were perfect and just the right amount (a few 4-6 km hikes, some with hills/stairs), all to fantastic views. We saw koalas in the wild, kangaroos, an echidna, snakes, you name it. The group ranged from 20s to 70s, and everyone got along well, and Janet helped keep the group super-engaged and connected to each other. A wonderful trip.

This was our first outdoor trip in a long time. Grampians has always topped our bucket list. A dream. Jennet saw this dream ours come through true in all the flying colours. She is super passionate, has infectious enthusiasm and energy, goes far many extra miles in making sure everyone is having the best trip, staying safe and not bored at all. Her subject knowledge is worth all the listen. Also, she checked on everyone’s need of water, toilet, food, snacks like a true pal. And yes, she stopped at all the wonderful spots and gave us enough time to explore. Kangaroos have “kindergarten’ stage. What a knowledge and so many other stuff. This will be one memorable trip. All credit to her.
We are already planning for our next autopia trip with Jennet on the wheels.

Great way to see The Great Ocean Road and Loch Ard Gorge. Would have never known it was there on my own to see! Stops were good and well timed out with a lengthy walk in the middle to help break up the day. I was picked up in Geelong, so the day wasn't too long for me, but from Melbourne I could see it being a long one. Bring your snacks, games and tunes for the ride and make some new friends. Jordan was organized, clear with instructions and gave enough info about what you were seeing to keep it interesting. Overall, I would recommend!

Maj was an exceptional driver and guide. I thoroughly enjoyed hearing the folklore stories during the trip, many with a historical reference. The great ocean tour is highly recommended especially if you are not from the UK or Australia and have trepidation about driving a rental car. We spotted kangaroos, a koala bear, and many native birds. The coast line is truly breathtaking. This reverse tour was also enjoyable because we did everything that most tour companies do from the opposite direction, meaning fewer crowds. We enjoyed stopping at a café and local ice cream parlour as well. everything was beautifully.

“3 Day Great Ocean Road/Grampians Tour”
I did the 3 day tour from Melbourne to Adelaide which included the Great Ocean Road and Grampians National Park. I thought the itinerary was well planned and contained a mix of hiking and driving. It’s not easier with everything being so far away. You get to see all the major sites plus a few extras. Motels/hostels were very clean. Our tour guide Craig was also very knowledgeable and kept the tour entertaining. I also loved that it was a small group size.

It was an excellent three days in the Grampians, seeing the Apostles, spotting wild koalas (our group saw 11!) and emus in Tower Hill. Janet was a wonderful guide who made sure everyone was safe and taken care of as to their specific needs while doing the activities we were expecting. My group was great, too, and took care of each other. It was a lovely group with people of all ages and backgrounds. I'm so happy I booked this trip! Go for it!

Myself and my partner did a brilliant tour to Philip Island. We really enjoyed the tour and were blown away by the natural beauty of Philip Island. We really enjoyed the stops at the koala reserve and seeing the beautiful tiny joeys! The penguin parade was a magical experience, we saw hundreds of fairy penguins, some close enough to touch! Our guide, Craig, was friendly and knowledgeable and helpful. I would highly recommend this tour as a great day out from Melbourne for all ages.

We would like to extend our heartfelt appreciation to Kurt for joining us today and taking us on a captivating hot springs tour in the Mornington Peninsula Hot Springs, located just outside of Melbourne. Kurt's presence added a great deal of enjoyment to our experience as he engaged us in delightful conversations and played some wonderful music.
We were fortunate to have three blissful hours to soak in the rejuvenating hot springs and indulge in relaxation. Kurt's efficiency in getting us back to Melbourne in less than one hour and twenty minutes was truly remarkable. Moreover, we are grateful to Kurt for his kindness in dropping me off near my hotel on Spencer Street, which was just a ten-minute walk away.
Once again, we express our sincere gratitude to Kurt for making our trip to the Mornington Peninsula Hot Springs an unforgettable one. Thank you, Kurt!

This may not be the right tour but we did go on a half day Peninsula Hot Springs tour and it was FANTASTIC! We enjoyed so many hot springs and loved the aqua therapy pools and the cold plunge! The food was amazing, particularly the BBQ chicken pizza and one of the best parts was our amazing tour guide Janet (I may have spelt that wrong) She was brilliant at giving us more information on the hot springs and Melbourne itself and everyone enjoyed her being there so much! An amazing tour! Even though we were late, she was gracious enough to wait!

The tour was fantastic. So many beautiful sights to see! We even got to see a koala in the wild. Wes told lots of stories and taught us a lot about the area and some about the history of Australia. We were lucky to have a small group of only 10 on our bus, but that is not the norm.
The wind and the chilly (sometimes rainy) weather did not affect our trip at all. Dress warmly if you go in the winter; it can be quite windy near the sea. I was glad I wore boots because it was a bit muddy at some stops. I also brought flip flops to be able to put my feet in the ocean and that was fun too. We had a great day!

“Lovely day out but spoilt with soaking towels”
A wonderful day at the spas. Love the indulgence of a day relaxing in such a gorgeous place.
However, we paid the $25 for a threadbare towel, gown and locker that was drenched after the first pool, we spent the rest of the day in a soaking wet towel. Reception were dismissive when we asked for a dry towel informing us that we would need to pay an additional $25.
When we were having our lunch our very wet towel was left hanging in the change room to dry but were gone when we returned. We were therefore left with no towel. Not ideal as we wanted to spend another hour or so in the pools and then had nothing to dry ourselves with when getting dressed to leave. Resorting to paper towel.
On a day with a high of 11 degrees, a sopping towel made us cold and miserable and did spoil the day. Reception were borderline rude.
Strongly recommend bringing your own multiple towels.

“Great day excursion”
Great day trip. Got to see Koalas and their Joeys in a conservatory as well as some interesting birds and Wallabies. Penguin parade lives up to the hype as the little ones return from the Ocean to their nests. Wish premium seating upgrade was available and should have spent less time in the stands and more time watching them by the boardwalks and at their nests. Not allowed to take photos and videos of the parades though many ignored the rule :-(

You get to view Australia's beautiful coast, bush, native animals, and hospitality in a small group tour.
Guides Janet and Chris love for the area was obvious, and they were happy to share their knowledge and change routes to suit the tour.

What an Amazing day trip. Firstly a big thank you to Janet (aka J Dog), what an absolute legend of a guide. Very informative but not too over the top.
A Beautiful drive, amazing scenery not too rushed. The snow grounds were a bit too crowded for us. So we took a walk to the summit and played with some snow on the way.
Highly recommend grabbing a bite at the Bakery on the way to Lake Mountain. The Cafe is absolutely over brimming with tourists. Or pack your own picnic. There are BBQ’s available also.
Steve sons Falls didn’t disappoint. Plenty of toilet stops. Especially handy if you have little ones.

Our tour guides on Tuesday 25th july LK and Jordan were fantastic, Lk was such a character made the trip entertaining, (even his singing was great) played great music , they both gave some good information along the way. Made sure everyone was okay on the bus . Unfortunately no snow falling at Lake Mountain but was still okay . The Bakery stop on the way was nice and refreshing . The Steavenson waterfall was amazing. The Yarra Valley Chocolate factory was a nice way to finish the day off.
Overall I couldn't ask for better tour guides , they made the day perfect .

What an amazing trip. It started with our guide Fiona, who was just great, really informative and got to know everyone personally on the bus. Philip Island will be my highlight of staying in Melbourne, what a special place it is. The wildlife on the Island is amazing and I will never forgot the sight if seeing the little penguins coming out of the sea to their burrows. A trip which was worth every penny x

He was detailed on the information, history and entertaining with light anecdotes. He was vey considerate for everyone in the bus and made sure everyone made it back to the bus. Did 2 trips either side of Easter weekend, first to the Great Ocean Road and the second to the Grampians, both hosted by Dandy, had a great time as Dandy was informative, funny and considerate of all the passengers requirements etc.
If we go down to Melbourne again I'd ask to specifically book the tours Dandy was taking

Awesome day trip with Dandy. Central Melbourne pick up. Dandy was knowledgeable, friendly with a great taste in music. Kept the bus trip interesting with local indigenous and settlement history. Loved the Buckley's story. Koala stop was really good. disappointed we didn't see any copperheads...that is probably a good thing. We ate at the penguin restaurant before the viewing. Long lines but happy efficient workers, good food and prices made it a positive experience. Rangers at the penguin beach were very friendly and knowledgeable. Of course the little penguins were the highlight. Loved it. Worthwhile trip at reasonable price for the day. Do it you will love it.

Took the 8.5 hr. Phillip Island Koala Conservation center and Penguin Parade tour that starts at 1.45 pm in the afternoon from Melbourne CBD.
Excellent guide (Dandy) to begin with. Quite knowledgeable and provided good information all the while during the tour. He paced/timed the whole tour very well.
The visit to the Koala conservation center, the Pyramid rock, the Nobbies and the Penguin Parade - every bit of it was worth it. Importantly, got just about the right time to spend at each of these places, although you always wish you had more time!
Weather was excellent and conducive...quite chilly and windy at the Penguin Parade actually, so worth carrying enough warm clothing to keep you comfortable while sitting at the beach to watch the parade.
The Pyramid rock and Nobbies are simply awesome in terms of landscape.
Highlight of the visit was of course the cute, small penguins emerging from the ocean and making their way in groups up the hill to feed their younger ones....and also walking in tandem with them on the way back up the board walk.
Make sure you carry some food and water or have your dinner in time at the Penguin Parade information center (where options are limited).
All in all, a day truly well spent in the midst of mother nature and its beauty and splendor.
FYI, there's another longer tour which takes you to the town of Cowes for dinner break before heading towards the parade. I liked this one more though.

The tour was guided by the tour guide J-dog: The most amazing, warm and knowledgeable woman whose energy is completely infectious! Very friendly driver, think his name was ron?? not 100% sure but he was funny and friendly! hot springs were amazing, even on a 30 degree day it was overcast so we were still able to enjoy them. 3 hours at the springs was long enough for us as well. Highly Recommend.

Having Charlie as our tour guide. He was extremely patient and helpful with information wherever we were. An extremely good safe driver. Beautiful countryside and gorgeous little towns. Charlie took us to great cafes and restaurants which hasn't helped my expanding waist. Our walks in the bush were great and not too taxing. Couldn't do enough for us and nothing was a problem. Great choice of music

My only suggestion; I would have liked the motel option but since I was traveling solo it was extremely unreasonably priced. Many other tour groups I have done pair up two people if they both want to upgrade. Just a thought.

Yes the tour was great I really enjoyed it...the only thing I was disappointed about was the guide came over quite strongly about how hard the mountain trek was on the last day, so strongly to the point that around half of us didn't do the trek...and then when the others came back and showed us photos and videos it really wasn't as hard as he was making out,so I was very disappointed I didn't get to experience that to be fair! So for that reason I would rate it a 3.5/4 out of 5 I think.

I enjoyed this tour very much. The tour took in a LOT of sights in just three days, and went to the Grampians as well as the Great Ocean Road. Our driver-guide was Tom and he entertained the group not just with knowledgeable stories but also entertaining and highly apt song choices along the way. Good times.
“Great way to see Australia”
Part of our trip involved traveling from Melbourne to Adelaide to see family. We chose to drive The Great Ocean Road. It's a great trip! There are a lot of things to see and this is the only way to see them. One note, take your time. We would drive 4-5 hours per day. It allowed us to stop in a few of the small towns, find a hotel and look around a bit. We even found a couple of surprising meals along the way.
