- 27 nights — shared dorms in hostels along the coast, two nights camping on K'gari, two nights in a cabin on the sailing vessel, a night at an eco lodge on the Atherton Tablelands, and two nights on overnight buses.
Transport
- Bus passes between towns, booked for you before you travel, plus the ferry across to Magnetic Island. The day tours run their own transport — a 4WD on K'gari, and boats in the Whitsundays and on the reef.

- All meals are included on the Whitsundays sail, the K'gari safari and the 2 day Cape Tribulation tour, plus lunch on the Everglades day and the reef day. Meals in the towns and on free days are at your own cost.

If you're on the fence, just book it. I met some of my closest friends on this trip and three months later we're already talking about where we're going next. The east coast absolutely lives up to the hype and this package made sure I didn't miss a single thing worth seeing!! Thanks guys!
“Great itinerary”
The tour highlights are exactly as described. K'gari was a proper adventure — driving 4WDs along 75 Mile Beach, swimming in Lake McKenzie, camping under the stars. The Whitsundays sailing was three days of pure bliss. And the Great Barrier Reef, even for someone who's snorkelled in a fair few places, was genuinely awe-inspiring. The guides across all the tours were knowledgeable and enthusiastic without being overbearing.

was a little apprehensive about booking a pre-packaged trip. I'd always imagined myself as the kind of traveller who figures things out on the fly, but after doing the east coast this way I genuinely can't imagine having done it any other way. Every transfer, every tour, every hostel was already sorted before I even landed. That kind of peace of mind is worth more than I expected.

did this trip back in march and oh my god. fraser island alone was worth every cent. the whole thing was just sorted for us which was class because honestly I would have spent half the trip just trying to figure out buses and hostels. whitsundays sailing was unreal, whitehaven beach doesn't look real its so nice. defintely recommend to anyone thinking about it just do it!!

The Great Barrier Reef day was probably my personal highlight... I did the introductory scuba dive and it was one of those experiences I'll genuinely remember forever. Cape Tribulation was another one I wasn't expecting to love as much as I did. Highly recommend this as a way to see the east coast properly rather than rushing through it on your own.

My daughter convinced me to do this trip with her and I'll admit I had reservations about a packaged itinerary. I've always preferred to travel independently and on my own schedule. I'm pleased to say those reservations were entirely unfounded. The organisation was seamless, the accommodation was comfortable and well-positioned in each town, and the range of activities catered to all levels of enthusiasm and fitness.
The Cape Tribulation and Daintree tour in particular exceeded all expectations an astonishing part of the world that I would never have navigated as effectively on my own. The Great Barrier Reef, despite everything one reads about its condition, remains one of the most breathtaking sights I have encountered in a lifetime of travel. I would wholeheartedly recommend this package to anyone, regardless of age or travel experience.

Les Whitsundays, c’était complètement fou — de l’eau transparente, du sable blanc à perte de vue, vraiment un décor de rêve. Fraser Island était tout aussi dingue, j’aurais jamais imaginé faire du 4x4 à travers une forêt tropicale un jour et me baigner dans un lac d’eau douce le lendemain. Et puis la Grande Barrière de Corail… juste incroyable. C’est difficile à décrire tellement c’était beau. En plus, on a eu une chance de malade avec la météo — grand soleil quasiment tous les jours.
Et faut que je parle de la bouffe aussi — je m’attendais pas à bien manger, mais en fait c’était super bon pendant tout le tour. Des plats simples mais hyper savoureux, et après une grosse journée d’exploration, ça faisait trop plaisir.

booked this on a whim after finishing uni and it was the best decision ive ever made in my life lol. the sailing in the whitsundays is something that doesnt even look real, like your literally on a postcard. fraser island was chaotic in the best possible way. you end up spending so much time with the same group of people that by the end it feels like youve known them for years. already looking at flights back tbh
