TOUR ITINERARY
Your day begins with collection from your Port Lincoln accommodation between 8.00 am and 8.30 am before travelling into the spectacular landscapes of Lincoln National Park. Explore this coastal wilderness of secluded beaches, rugged headlands and native bushland, where wildlife such as emus, kangaroos and a variety of birdlife are sometimes seen in their natural habitat.
Continue to Wanna Lookout, where sweeping views stretch across Sleaford Bay and the surrounding coastline. From here, travel to nearby Fishery Bay, enjoying a stroll along the boardwalk overlooking the turquoise waters, before stopping at Cape Wiles for a photo opportunity at one of the peninsula’s most dramatic coastal viewpoints.
Returning to Port Lincoln, enjoy lunch at the Fresh Fish Place, where you’ll be served fresh local fish and chips sourced from Australia’s busiest commercial fishing fleet.
The afternoon continues with a visit to Jump Ship Brewing, one of Port Lincoln’s favourite local breweries. Relax with a guided tasting of their handcrafted beers or ciders while learning about the local ingredients and passion behind this Eyre Peninsula producer.
Before returning to town, stop at Winters Hill Lookout for panoramic views across Port Lincoln and Boston Bay. You’ll arrive back at your accommodation at approximately 4.30 pm, having experienced the spectacular scenery, local produce and relaxed coastal lifestyle that define the Eyre Peninsula.
PRIVATE UPGRADE TO 4WD TOUR
Available year-round, our Private Tailored Experience offers the flexibility to discover the Eyre Peninsula at your own pace in a private four-wheel drive, exclusively for your group.
Every itinerary is customised around your interests, allowing you to adjust departure times, spend longer at your favourite locations or explore destinations not included on the scheduled group departure.
Rather than returning to town for lunch, choose to enjoy a gourmet picnic at a secluded location within Lincoln National Park (weather permitting). Your private experience also includes a visit to Mikkira Station, home to the Eyre Peninsula’s only wild koala population. While sightings can never be guaranteed, Mikkira offers one of the region’s best opportunities to observe koalas living freely among the manna gums, alongside kangaroos, emus and other native wildlife.
Whether you’d like to venture further along remote four-wheel drive tracks, discover hidden beaches or simply enjoy a more relaxed pace, your guide will tailor the day to create a personalised Eyre Peninsula experience.
